Can’t always be NYC, LA, or Paris. Someone has to hold it down in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I had such fun completing this beautiful 2 sided quilt for the newly married Mr. & Mrs. Chappel! From high school to college to dental school, this was an awesome mixture of two lives in one quilt. We picked fabrics that complimented the shirts and each other. Reversing the red/blue and blue/red design on each side made this one to remember! #weddinggiftideas #recycledclothing #tshirtquilt #handmadeart #quilting

Ruthie and Jacob’s wedding guests came red carpet ready, and I’m reliving getting to paint all the fabulous, fun, stylish, and lovely people I met that evening! 👗🎨✨

“LET’S HOLD THE BRIDE & GROOM”

The Chapple’s day was overflowing with love. It’s undeniable how deeply these two love each other—the way Jacob looks at her absolutely melts my heart. 🤍

Throughout the day, there were little moments that felt too special to be coincidences. While I was taking Ruthie’s detail photos, a ladybug landed right on her shoe and stayed long enough for us to notice it. Then, as the evening came to a close, the sky put on a beautiful sunset, one that truly felt like it was created just for her.

Maybe some would call them small moments, but to me, they felt like gentle reminders that her dad was there with her all day long. In the ladybug that stopped by to say hello and in the sunset that wrapped the day in the most beautiful light, it felt as though he was finding little ways to make his presence known and remind her that he was celebrating right alongside her. 🤍

It was a day full of laughter, happy tears, and so much joy. I feel incredibly blessed to have been trusted to capture these memories and witness such a beautiful love story unfold.

Here’s to forever, Jacob & Ruth. 🦢♾️
