👋 I’m Hailee. My husband and I have two fur babies at home (Piper & Grif). We love dogs! 🐶 Over the past six months, I became interested in volunteering my time at dog shelters. Shelter stress has him putting on a tough front, but once he’s outside, Shrimp is calm, affectionate, and eager to connect. ❤️ Loves attention 🐾 slow introductions with other dogs 🦴 Takes treats gently 🛁 Even enjoyed bath time 💪 Best with a strong, confident handler The most important thing to know: 🏡 You do NOT have to adopt Shrimp to save him. 🚨 DEADLINE TODAY (7/13) at 7 PM 🚨 Meet Rex (A1227726). After spending time with him, one thing became very clear… This is a dog who simply wants to be close to his people. He happily took treats from my hand, leaned in for pets, and soaked up every bit of attention. It’s hard to understand how such a sweet dog has run out of time. Rex has already shown he can be a wonderful companion in a home. 🐾 House trained (still needs work with crate training) 🐾 Walks beautifully on leash 🐾 Gentle and affectionate 🐾 Loves being with his people 🐾 Needs SLOW introductions to other dogs and time to decompress. He would even thrive as the only dog in the home. Like many dogs, Rex also struggles with separation anxiety. He would do best with someone who works from home, has a partner with a different schedule, or can give him the time and consistency he needs to settle in. UPDATE: 7/10- Polly is SAFE! 💔 She doesn’t know she has a deadline of MONDAY 7/13… She just knows that every person she meets is another chance to make a friend. Every volunteer who spends time with Polly says the same thing: She’s incredibly easy to love. The heartbreaking part? They’re contagious. 💙 Polly is a volunteer favorite for a reason. She is the kind of dog who makes every outing feel like the best day of summer. 4 year old, spayed female 🐾 47 pounds — the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy ☀️ Loves everyone she meets 🌊 Water is LIFE (seriously!) 🚗 Great in the car 🦴 Loves squeaky toys, bones, and snacks 💋 Sweet, affectionate, and happiest right by your side 🐾 Unbothered by reactive dogs (slow introductions are always recommended) Polly has spent far too long in and out of the shelter system since March 2025, through absolutely no fault of her own.
