Meet Rex (A1227726).
After spending time with him, one thing became very clear…
This is a dog who simply wants to be close to his people.
He happily took treats from my hand, leaned in for pets, and soaked up every bit of attention. It’s hard to understand how such a sweet dog has run out of time.
Rex has already shown he can be a wonderful companion in a home.
🐾 House trained (still needs work with crate training)
🐾 Walks beautifully on leash
🐾 Gentle and affectionate
🐾 Loves being with his people
🐾 Needs SLOW introductions to other dogs and time to decompress.
He would even thrive as the only dog in the home.
Like many dogs, Rex also struggles with separation anxiety. He would do best with someone who works from home, has a partner with a different schedule, or can give him the time and consistency he needs to settle in.
His foster can no longer keep him, and now Rex urgently needs a rescue takeover.
