@gbg.hoops new apparel is perfect for racquet sports. Pickleball, tennis, padel…super light weight, extreme moisture wicking properties, fit is ridiculous. @gbg.hoops training app is the perfect solution for racquet sport athletes as well. Don’t let the hoops in the name dissuade you. It’s my go to training protocol for all the sports and activities I enjoy. Bulletproof the joints and tendons. Play your best at any age. #pickleball #pickleballtraining #bereddy #sportsperformance #greatnessbreedsgreatness by @bornreddy78

Subbing in for Naya while her broken toe heals. First time on a horse in more than two decades. Two point English saddle was not easy. Love Naya’s critique. Tough but fair. 😂 by @bornreddy78

Pickleball players… how’s your lower back feeling? 👀

Hours spent dinking, reaching, lunging and staying low can put serious demands on the posterior chain.

Your hamstrings don’t just need flexibility—they need to be strong at length.

Limited usable range and lack of strength through the hamstrings and hips can mean the lower back picks up more of the workload.

Don’t just stretch your hamstrings. Lengthen them. Strengthen them. Train the range. Here are two @gbg.hoops app prescribed movements to address hamstring health.

Healthy shoulders aren’t built by training the shoulder in isolation—or in just one plane.

For pickleball, tennis and other racquet sports, the shoulder has to produce and absorb force through multiple planes and angles: pressing, pulling, internal/external rotation, horizontal movement, elevation, and the rotational patterns created by serves, drives, volleys and overheads.

This superset combines single-arm presses + the @axiotraining to challenge more than just shoulder strength.

The unilateral press creates an asymmetrical load, forcing the core to resist rotation while the shoulder produces force. That connects shoulder stability to the trunk and lower body—the same kinetic chain we rely on when transferring force from the ground into the paddle.

The Axios 360 uses centripetal force and continuous circular movement, creating a dynamic challenge that requires the shoulder complex, rotator cuff, scapular stabilizers and core to constantly react and control the load through changing positions.

For pickleball, that can help build the physical qualities needed to:

• Generate and transfer rotational power
• Control rapid acceleration and deceleration
• Stabilize the shoulder during volleys and quick exchanges
• Prepare for overheads and serves
• Handle shots outside your ideal hitting position
• Improve resilience to the repetitive demands of high-volume play

The court isn’t one-dimensional. Your shoulder training shouldn’t be either.

Train multiple planes.
Train rotation and anti-rotation.
Train acceleration and deceleration.
Train the entire kinetic chain.

Build the shoulder. Build the system. Build the player.

You can be a fan of numerous racquet/paddle sports. It’s not a zero sum game. Appreciate all the talent, skill, and grit tennis, pickleball, and padel players have. No need for hate. Great cognitive test to switch between sports. Whatever keeps people active and healthy, I will enthusiastically support. #goplay #tennis #pickleball #padel #alllovenohate❤️ @senspickleball by @bornreddy78

Using @acupresboards nail beds for more than foot activation. 👣 Basically, the poor man’s pressure plate. 😂

The instant feedback helps me feel and control every pressure shift during squats and mace swings:

Am I favoring one side? Rolling to inside or outside edge of the feet? Loading the heel, forefoot, or whole foot evenly?

Better sensory feedback → better foot control → better movement up the kinetic chain.

That matters in pickleball, where quick starts, stops, lateral shuffles, and direction changes depend on how well you control and transfer pressure through your feet.
