A farm girls review on the @kawasakiusa Nav 💚

Partnering with a company like Kawasaki is a must for modern farm and off road life. The quality of their products stand up to real life use. Blessed to have @utvsource partnership to add all the accessories needed to get the job done

Instant Pot BOSCHMA FARMS Short Ribs 🤎
15 min prep time
55 min cook time

INGREDIENTS
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
4 cloves of minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes - increase for more heat
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
5 pounds beef short ribs
Garnish with parsley
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water

INSTRUCTIONS
Prep Marinade: in a small mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and black pepper.

Cook: Place the ribs in the Instant Pot. Pour marinade over the top and stir to coat. Lock and seal the lid. Cook at high pressure for 45mins. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10mins, then quick release the remaining pressure.
Thicken sauce: optional.
Set the Instant Pot to “sauté”. In a small bowl, stir in 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water until smooth. Whisk this into the sauce. Cook, whisking regularly, until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Press “Cancel”.

Chad and I hadn’t visited Desert Porch Mercantile until we started buying our ground beef from Boschma Farms.
It’s the cutest little store and it’s tucked right behind The Red Onion. 10/10 would recommend stopping in the next time you’re waiting for a table! taken in Desert Porch Mercantile by @boschmafarms

We didn’t get many pictures from this past weekend at the Sheriff’s Picnic thanks to the storm that rolled in and cut our day short! ⛈️ But the time we did get to spend there was so good, and we loved meeting so many wonderful people! 🤍

My oldest three came along to “help” but quickly found themselves running around enjoying all the rides together instead. And honestly, I loved that for them! 😂🎡

After so many years of having little ones back to back, needing my hand for just about everything, I’m really loving this new season we’re stepping into. Watching them become more independent, confident, and adventurous, while still choosing to do things together, is pretty special. 🥹🤎

A little bittersweet watching them grow up, but there’s beauty in every new season of motherhood. ✨ by @boschmafarms

My Birdie Girl taught herself how to braid hair on rockstar! 🎉

Of all my 5 kids I’d say Birdie is prob the most like me.. and one of the hardest 🤪 sometimes.

She marches to the beat of her own drum. Her heart is huge. She’s creative and a dreamer just like her mama. She loves all things beauty and fashion. She doesn’t care what others think of her as long as she’s vibin with herself. She prays for people and always wants to help if she sees someone hurting.

That creative spirit of hers is my favorite but it’s also what makes her hard to parent sometimes.

In so many ways she reminds me of a horse. Powerful, a free spirit, headstrong, but very in touch with the energies around her. Trying to train and guide her without breaking that beautiful spirit is something that is very refining to me as a mother.

I pray I never break her spirit but always learn how to guide it because there’s no doubt she’s going to be something fierce for Gods glory in this world. She already has a way of touching people’s souls everywhere she goes and it’s an honor to be a part of her light 🤍 by @boschmafarms

I went on the road last week with my podcast and landed in Havasu. We filmed on the boat and talked about how to make it all work.
My fave episode yet!
