I just finished this series of pieces for my most recent college art project, and I decided that I wanted to share some of my hard work (final products shown in the last three slides).

The assignment was to recreate a space, in black and white, three separate times at different times of the day/week.

I chose to recreate the window placed in the stairwell to my dorm, which has the most beautiful warped glass that bends and reflects light in the most interesting of ways. The way it seems to convert the outside world into abstract shapes, was like a constant reminder that you can never assume or expect things to work a certain way in life, because if you do, you will surely miss the finer details that make the whole picture unique and special.

I have had art block for a while now, but doing this project reminded me exactly why I love being creative in the first place. Creativity allows me to express myself and turn the mundane into something beautiful and worth looking at. I hope you enjoy these pieces and maybe get inspired or learn something new.

P.S. PLEASE show me some love they took collectively over 40 hours to create. 😭😭 by @boss_brailey
