Oh Death, Where Is Thy Sting? 💔

Today marks exactly one week—one painful, heartbreaking week—since that dreadful night at 10 PM when we were called to retrieve your lifeless body from the roadside, just minutes after you had said you were coming. How does one even begin to process such a loss?

My heart is heavy, shattered into unimaginable pieces. My words feel so inadequate, and my soul aches with the unbearable weight of losing you so suddenly. Dearest Izik, you were more than a son—you were a light in my life, a source of joy, strength, and unconditional love.

From the moment you became part of our world, you embraced it with a heart overflowing with kindness, a spirit radiating warmth, and a love so pure that it touched everyone around you. You were truly a gift that kept on giving. Your laughter, your wisdom, and your unwavering support were treasures I will cherish forever. My mini defender, I will miss your playful banter with Mumsy—your love. It’s bittersweet now, looking at all those group pictures where you always stood beside me. That was our bond—so natural, so strong. You were, in every way, low-key Mummy’s boy, and I lived for those moments.

Your sudden departure has left a void nothing can ever fill. It’s hard to accept that I will never again hear your voice, see your smile, or feel the warmth of your presence. But even in this deep sorrow, I hold onto the beautiful memories we created, the lessons you taught, and the love you so freely gave. How I will miss the tickle in my heart when you'd say, “Let me ask my mummy,” or “Mummy, can you…?” or “Mummy, I need…” And oh, the classic “Mummy, how are you? Have you eaten?” And the one that always melted my heart—whenever you wanted something, you’d say, “My daddy said you should take care of me.” Those words, those moments—I will never forget.

Izik, you will always be a part of me. Your kindness and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew you. Though you are no longer here in body, your spirit remains—watching over us, guiding us, loving us still.

Rest peacefully, my beloved son. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

Love you forever,
Momma❤️❤️. by @bosslady_na2

THIS IS 44! 🎂❤️

43 was an amazing year, and I am incredibly grateful to God for His grace, faithfulness, and blessings.

As I step into 44, I am reminded that mammograms are no longer a luxury but a necessity. Early detection can save lives, yet many women in Nigeria lack access to this essential screening because of financial constraints. I have lost 8 family members to this and I won't wish it on my worst enemy.

For my birthday, I’m asking for just one gift: YOUR SUPPORT in sponsoring free mammograms for women in Nigeria this October through the NASH Foundation.🎀💗

Your donation of just $25 can sponsor a mammogram and make a meaningful difference in someone's life. Every contribution counts, and no amount is too small.

You can donate through the link in my bio or use the bank details provided above.

This year, instead of gifts for myself, I want to give more women the gift of early detection, hope, and a fighting chance.

This is the only birthday gift I need. Help me save lives, one mammogram at a time.🙏🏽💗🎀
