Back when I used to only ride fixed, I used to clown ultra-cycling… never in my life would I think to enter one. To be fair, I wasn’t into road bikes back then either!

Getting old is weird lol

Cycling can be whatever you make it, I choose to make it not about suffering but joy. Not “fighting demons or working on myself”, enjoying the time!

So now I got my first 400k in the books and already looking up some longer ones I’m interested in doing.

Getting old is fun.

Faces.

Following these four for a couple days around Catalunya, only wish I had more time. A joy I’ll always keep with me.

Is American Road Racing Healing?

In 2024 an American woman won the olympic road race, and this year at World’s in Montreal we have an American U23 Men and Elite Men’s World Champion!

COMMUNITY IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL SAVE US!

This is the way.

Congratulations Demi 🌈

I love rooting for the underdogs, but the favorite showed us all why she’s earned that number one spot in the rankings!

Such a good race!!!!!

UAE is gonna want to keep that jersey in their hands, so Almeida and company might be motivated to ride for a new Richard Mille.

Although Seixas might have us listening to Freed From Desire on repeat!

What do y’all think?

Maybe Remco will support Wout this time around?! Maybe not… If they can’t get it together there’s always Thibau Nys!

Lots to catch up on since the tour, make sure you’re following so you can keep up with us in the lead up to UCI road world championships!

$200 for a non-riding partner to join you in Spain. It’s not even a new deal, it’s always been there! Perfect for folks who want to choose their own adventure.

There are a few spots left for our October retreat. Comment “room” for more information!

@bluberrybeagle is a year old now, so she’s allowed to run with us!

I didn’t even know special dog running harnesses were a thing, but apparently traditional leashes can pull on their back and the canicross community recommends this specially designed apparatus to help with that!

While everyone is welcome at The Pedaler’s Retreat, we always love when Black folks let us know they see themselves in this space and feel safe and encouraged because of it.

Thanks for coming Bruce!

The next pedaler’s retreat is October 7-14. www.thepedalersretreat.com
