Therapy Tuesday…I saw these ginger chews on the net and they are meant to help with nausea and upset stomach but I’m sure they could work with flu as well given this flu is upon us strong , I added orange for citrus flavouring 🤗

Here’s the recipe:
1/4 cup ginger
2 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup sugar

These sweets are giving lozenges so I’m sure they can work for the throat as well…try them🤗

Closing off Heritage Month with a traditional spread😍
A client ordered and their menu items took me back to how I grew having Tchotlo only on big occasions and having Morogo that would be dried up and stored in bulk, Gemere( ginger beer) that my granny would only make in December and …fun fact it was my first time making Tchotlo and I aced it. Also the nice part is I got a plate for myself😍 and the weather allows🥳

Celebrating Heritage Day with a plate of Stampa sa dinawa(samp and beans) with Menoto le Dintshu( chicken feet and Gizzards)

Also quick question, why did we have to soak Samp overnight and cook it for hours like it has bones? My parents have some explaining to do 😂😭I didn’t do that and I didn’t spend many hours in the kitchen 😂
