This was the first project I was ever briefed at @rethinkideas , 4 years ago. I am so so excited to finally share all the work behind @scotiabank ‘s recent brand evolution that I had the privilege to co-lead with @field.type . 💯💯 The red bar is finally here! Scotiabank needed a rebrand that unified their global identity and appealed to a more affluent clientele. We started by establishing consistent design layouts, drawing inspiration from their worldwide branch architecture. We also crafted an elegant bespoke serif typeface with @dalton.maag , developed a sophisticated new approach to imagery, and refined their colour palette inspired by their heritage. by @boudreaudesigns

This year’s Young Lions brief was to redesign the Bike for Brain Health event. We designed a dynamic system based around a bike that shifted depending on its environment. My fave part? The motion system 🫶🏻🫶🏻 What an absolute dreaam this whole process was. I am so excitedd to share our rebrand for Vancouver’s smartest stay, @hotel.willo 💚 The hotel’s former name, YWCA Hotel, led travelers to assume it was a shelter or women’s residence, overshadowing the fact that it’s a boutique hotel where 100% of profits fund YWCA community programs. The deets: 🌲 New name & logo are inspired by native Vancouver willow trees 🎨 All wrapped in warm typography, vibrant colors, & cheery brand photography 🏨 A design system that proves staying at a social enterprise hotel is worth celebrating Made at @rethinkideas Font is by @allcapstype , Youth taken in Hotel Willo by @boudreaudesigns

👶NEW WORK ALERT👶 for @Sleep_Origin . What an absolute joy of a project. This rebrand started with the logo, creating a swaddled baby icon that could toggle into sleep mode. From there, we continued with a night-inspired colour palette, toggle-style business cards, and sleeping baby door tags. With International Women’s Day just passing, it only feels right to share @rethinkideas new work for @ywcabc. This project has a special place in my heart. YWCA BC needed a rebrand that echoed their mission to amplify the collective strength of women. We started by creating the “Y” logo, where three shapes converge to form a strong and dynamic triangle. This motif scales across the entire design system, acting as a spotlight for messaging and illustration. Paired with a bold palette and confident typography, the new photography style showcases the real women of the YWCA at the centre of the brand. Built for women by women, this visual identity proves that collective strength isn’t just felt, it’s seen. Font is PP Neue Corp by @pangram.pangram taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @boudreaudesigns

💬 This year's Young Lions brief at Cannes was to design and name an exhibition that explores the world of Indian visual storytelling from early 20th century artwork to modern-day graphic novels.⁠ ⁠ IN Frame puts the art of Indian storytelling at the core of its identity, utilizing the country’s shorthand “IN” to create a framing device that showcases exhibition artwork. Plus a speech bubble that literally allows the work to speak for itself. So much gratitude for this process and the amazing support we've received worldwide.
