No recent running or racing pics to share lately.

But my cup has been filled lately with my time at the local BRR Summer-All Comers meets.

Being at the track, sharing smiles with friends, meeting new athletes coming into the sport, returning to the sport, continuing their current journeys, hearing their stories, celebrating their wins has all been so inspiring. Thank you all for sharing your summer and your stories with us. @runboulder wanted to do the @runnersroostboulder group run, nice casual easy 5k. @boulderrunner flipped the script with 3(3*300’s). The need for speed is real. :54 sec 300’s for funzies.

What a week in Florida for the World Indoor Masters Championships.

I made the finals in both the 800m and 1500m and ran solid races, while improving my Season Bests in both events. Heck, it was an AG best in my 1500m by over 8 seconds. Plus, I'm very happy about just getting out there and competing hard.

Indoors is so much fun, fast races in tight packs, running the curves and trying to find your way around people where you can.

The road to any race is bumpy, and I somehow managed to get myself to this event healthy and probably 90% sharp so that's a win right there.
There were so many @boulderroadrunners teammates and friends to cheer for and we had great company with our housemates through it all.

When all the training in the winter has you questioning your motives, this renewed my energy for running track.

#latepost Had a fantastic run at the USATF Masters National Indoor Champs with friends and teammates. I managed to capture a silver medal in the 1500 just in front of my teammate John P who ran a solid race! He came back the following day in the 800m and put on a clinic and crushed me. A repeat out outdoors last year. Super fun to battle it out with him.

3 weeks till Worlds also in FLA. Time to buckle down!
