Sometimes you need to pause and look back at where you started, just to see how far you’ve come.

We’re celebrating 8 years of Bound this week, and honestly, it’s been an eventful journey.

We’ve worked with writers and non-writers, experts and brands, to develop their ideas into books and bring them into the world. Along the way, we’ve also been building creative education in India through the academy, teaching a generation that won’t just work in the creative industry, but shape it.

We’ve tried things, changed things, figured stuff out as we went. And through it all, this community has been right there with us and we’re so grateful for that.

This week, we're going to take stock of all the things Bound does, and the impact it has had. Stay tuned as we share more from our journey over the next few days! by @boundindia

It’s the little moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.

When we received this message from our client, it truly made our day — not just because our manuscript evaluation helped him refine his work, but also because he completely understood and appreciated the reasoning behind our suggestions.

Sometimes, preserving your stories for the next generation is the best way to make sure your legacy lives on.

That’s exactly what we do at @momentsbybound . We have helped people document their stories and experiences as books, creating something that can be passed down through generations.
Because when a story is documented, it becomes more than just a memory. It becomes a part of history.

Here are a few organisations doing their bit to preserve stories. Know of any others? We’d love to hear about them. Drop them in the comments! by @boundindia

Last weekend at The Bound Publishing Course was packed with ideas, insights and a lot to take away.

From understanding the business of magazine publishing from an editor’s perspective with @sa1i1, to exploring business communication with @shalakulkarni, the cohort got a closer look at the different sides of publishing and media.

@chitranshutewari led an engaging session on the business of news media, including how AI could shape its future. @suki_unibrow took the cohort through writing across formats while sharing her own journey, and @toontooniguha's expert speak session opened up a conversation around careers beyond publishing.

What we love most is how much thought our faculty put into every session, making sure the cohort leaves with practical insights they can carry into their work.
Which session would you have loved to attend? Tell us in the comments. by @boundindia
