We are coming to the end of 2 weeks on the road around the U.S. on Jacob’s first American Tour. New York tonight is sure to be magical.

We have met beautiful people, new friends and seen some of the most fantastic places.

Lovely to win @skyarts Award on our journey on Route 66.

Powered up for what’s to come.

Thank you to Sky Arts!

walt disco - walt disco
Out now.

This is the kind of record that stays with you.

Honest and unguarded truth, start to finish. walt disco have made something that lasts. We couldn’t be prouder of this band or this record.

It’s emotional, it’s heavy, it’s real

Massive thank you to everyone at EMI North for believing in it and helping bring it into the world exactly as it should be. It’s been a complete pleasure.

Hugely proud of this album, this campaign and the bands work.

Out everywhere now. Listen deep and let it take you somewhere.

Walt Disco are back ⚙️🌹⚡️

It’s been absolutely amazing watching this next chapter take shape.

Coup de foudre kicked it all off like a bolt, followed by the wall of sound in Lies, two songs that feel like Walt Disco completely on their own terms.

There’s something really special happening with the band right now. They’ve been through a lot already together, grown a lot together, and have made something incredibly special. Seeing that growth as people and through the music, the shows and everything they’re creating around it has been a joy.

Massive thanks to BBC Radio 6 Music and Spotify for all the love so far.

So much love to Tom Joyce, Spyro, Izzy Leach, Ponyboy and MV for everything they’ve brought to this new world, and to everyone at EMI North for the trust, support and feeling it with us.

But mostly, just a bit of appreciation for the five people at the centre of it all. We’re incredibly proud of them.

This next bit is going to be fun.

Solid! Walt Disco are fucking back.

“Songwriting is about giving my children my voice and passing a particular message to them.”

At our Summer Party, we spoke about songwriting with the incredible songwriter and musician @jamesemmanuelofficial.

After losing recordings of his father’s voice in a flood, James realised that the songs he writes today can become a legacy for tomorrow.

“It’s about empowerment”.

Songs are how we can share experiences, preserve voices and leave something behind for future generations.

The Ivors Academy exists to protect, empower and celebrate songwriters and composers, ensuring they have the support, recognition and advocacy they deserve throughout their careers.

If you’re a songwriter or composer, join The Ivors Academy today (you can even start for free) - 🔗 link in bio.
