Friday at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival was about more than great whiskey. It was about the people, the stories, the craftsmanship, and the relationships that make Kentucky bourbon what it is.

We spent the day tasting incredible pours, talking with the people behind the brands, discovering new experiences and enjoying one of the best celebrations of bourbon anywhere.

Last night we had the privilege of attending the private release event for @angelsenvy 2026 Bourbon and Rye Spring Releases, and what an experience it was.

Master Distiller Owen Martin @oven_mitten walked us through the tasting himself, and listening to Owen talk about bourbon is a real treat. The man is part artist, part scientist, and every pour told a story.

Huge thanks to @bourbonrunnersconcierge for the invite and for consistently putting us in rooms with the people shaping Kentucky’s bourbon industry and tourism scene.
