When the shop looks like a secret garden. We had 2 absolutely beautiful weddings this weekend. I only managed to catch photos of this one but I am certain the professional photos from Friday's wedding will be fabulous! What a lovely weekend to celebrate. Find joy where you can folks!

A dream come true. It's so fulfilling to work with a team and a client that have a vision and coalesce around that vision to make magic. This was definitely one of those times! The head table was so romantic! And the candleabras, a perfect touch of classical elegance.

First Sunday off in a bit and I am going to enjoy it! Even with the rain. It gives me an excuse to lay around and relax and really look at some of the beautiful galleries we have received.
This beautiful couple had a vision from the start. The best food and wine paired with elegant and simple florals to compliment the table rather then take over. It made for a very collaborative process and memorable outcome!

My main job at your wedding is to notice.

To notice light, and tenderness, and composition.

To notice the moment about to happen, like an embrace from your mom.

To notice your grandmas, from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, sitting and chatting.

To notice those same grandmas on the dance floor.

To notice the energy in the room and how I can respond to it.

To notice silliness with your brother.

This business is full of highs and lows and today was all over the place. Looking through these images again tonight, reminds me of why we do what we do. Last week was amazing, all of our events went so well and this week is shaping up nicely! Getting product is our biggest challenge during peak wedding months and things are definitely peaking!
After 12 years in this business I just have to stay the course and make things pretty. It always works out!
Thanks to @elanaevents for introducing us to these 2 beautiful people. We had a blast creating this look for them. My team was amazing on production and set up!!!

My heart for strong marriages runs deep, and marriage is a definite pillar of #stephanieshaulevents — and always has been. As much as I adore weddings & my job as a wedding planner, I know that there is so much more than just this one day. Marriage is what matters. A lifetime of love (messy, joyful, challenging, deep, & full of grace!) is what the focus truly is and should be. I want my couples, my friends, and my husband & myself to have marriages so much more beautiful than our wedding days. I want engagements to be filled with marriage planning and big dreams and deep conversations — not just wedding planning. I want you to know that there is so much more to come after your wedding day! That’s why I do the work that I do: so that my couples can focus more on their upcoming marriage than just on wedding planning. So that their engagement season is joy-filled and not stress-filled. So that I get to see huge, genuine smiles like this on their wedding day!
