OMG!! 🤦‍♀️ I just saw my old pics and I'm like, 'Girl, what were you thinking?!' I used to put everyone else first, and then I realized, wait, I'm a hot mess!

I’ve gone back and forth about sharing this part of my story, but today, on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I feel like it’s time. 🩷🩵

I’m 1 in 4, and this is a part of my motherhood journey that not many people know about.

I’ve experienced two miscarriages, and then, while pregnant with Lucas, I lost his twin. Three babies I never got the chance to watch grow up. And I won’t pretend those losses didn’t change me, because they did.

I struggled for a while, emotionally and mentally, in ways I didn’t always know how to explain. But life doesn’t stop when you’re grieving. You still have to get up, be a mom, go to work, smile, and carry on, even when you’re quietly falling apart inside.

Losing Lucas’ twin was a different kind of heartbreak. I was carrying a baby I was so thankful for while grieving another I would never get to bring home. Lucas is my rainbow sunrise baby. 🌈🌅 A reminder that joy and heartbreak can exist at the same time.

Looking through these pictures brings up so many emotions. His ultrasound, the day he was born, and a picture of us together. And then there’s the painting I had made of what I imagined his twin might look like as an angel. A face I never got to see, but a baby I’ll always wonder about.

I love my three boys more than words can explain. But being grateful for the children I get to hold doesn’t mean I don’t grieve the ones I lost. Both feelings can exist, and both are okay.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing because so many women experience pregnancy loss and carry that heartbreak silently. If that’s you, whether your loss was recent or years ago, I hope you know your grief matters. Your baby mattered. And you don’t have to pretend you’re okay just because the world kept moving.

Today I’m remembering my three little angels and every baby who was loved but never got to stay. 🩷🩵

To every woman who’s part of this club none of us ever wanted to join, I see you. You’re not alone. 🤍

Some stories are hard to tell, but they still deserve to be told. 🤍

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, and this is something that holds a very personal place in my heart.

I am 1 in 4. 💔

I’ve experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage more than once. I know the excitement, the dreams, the love that begins long before you ever hold your baby. And I know the heartbreak of having to say goodbye to a little life you never got enough time with.

It’s a kind of loss that isn’t always talked about, but it’s one that stays with you.

To every mama, daddy, and family who has experienced this kind of heartbreak, I see you. I understand more than I wish I did. And I hope you know that your grief matters, your story matters, and your baby matters. 🤍
