To mark the mad monk’s return on Halloween at Tell No One, here is a trailer we put together for @deathofrasputin earlier this year.

So grateful to the entire creative team, cast, and crew for making this happen. What a special opportunity it was to merge these two mediums I love (theater and film) to make a fun project within a project!

Now get your tickets for the Tell No One events!

Yips (plural noun): A psychological “glitch” that causes an athlete to overthink and lose their ability to execute simple moves.

This short film follows a once-promising college tennis player seeking redemption in his senior year while grappling with the yips.

This project will always have a special place in my heart. I loved surrounding myself with brilliant artists who knew more about filmmaking than me. Thank you for being my teachers!

Earlier this summer, I had the honor of traveling to Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland as a Fund for Teachers Fellow, exploring how documentary filmmaking and media education can empower high school students as change makers in their community.

I had the opportunity to observe classrooms and workshops, learn from filmmakers and media educators, and talk to students. I’ll return to NYC with many ideas for what this kind of work can look like in my classroom.

Immense gratitude to the educators, filmmakers, and students at the organizations listed below who generously opened their doors to me and shared knowledge/experiences with me. Excited for the year ahead!

Australian Teachers of Media (Victoria Chapter)
Australia’s Center for the Moving Image (ACMI)
Heywire - Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s youth outreach program (I toured the ABC studios!!!)
University of Melbourne (school of Film & TV)
New Zealand Association of Media Educators (NAME)

Some good news — I’m a 2026 #FFTFellow

Thanks to @fundforteachers I will travel this summer to Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland to study how documentary filmmaking skills can empower high school students to engage more critically with social justice issues in their communities.

Many thanks to @vincent.q.pham for guiding me through my first grant writing process. by @boynamedaudrey

I still don’t know how I got so lucky to find myself among the constellation of artists at @themckittrick Hotel.

I wish I did—so I could tell my students how to chase the things that change you.

@sleepnomorenyc was my home for the past six years. I had the privilege of playing a king, a prince, and a crooner named Elijah Simmons.

Words fail, and photos fall short of capturing the profound impact this show has had on my life. Being part of Sleep No More was the honor of a lifetime—truly one for the history books.

It’s not every day you become part of a production that reimagines what a 2,500-year-old art form can be.

Thank you to @izzadizzy and @maxinedoyle1 for seeing something in me six years ago—and to Carrie, for bringing me back to the hotel and making it possible for me to keep growing as an artist while making an impact in the classroom.

To my fellow performers, I am endlessly in awe of each of you. Thank you for being my teachers.

To all the brilliant souls in every department who kept this monumental production running for 14 years, and the fans who visited nightly—a million thank-yous.

I walked into this show one person and left another—forever changed.

The literal blood, sweat, and tears… I wouldn’t change a thing.

And so, to my students, I’d say: “Is that all there is? If that’s all there is, my friends, then let’s keep dancing.”

Eternally grateful.

Sometimes the city surprises you. One morning, I had to pause my commute to work just to catch this skyscraper disappearing into the fog. Usually photos never quite do justice to the real thing, but this one comes close. Just a little reminder that even in the daily rush, there’s room for a moment of awe.
