Finished a two week string of auditions for various theatres and keep thinking of how wonderful it was to kick it off with a recharge up at Sewanee. The industry has changed a lot folks and many of us social animals don’t get the sense of community we once did, because the process of booking is siloed more than ever. Grateful for this artistic home for reaching out and calling us back to the Mountain. I needed it far more than I realized. #ysr #theatre #sewanee #community #artists

I keep my sail out in the wind a lot, so being called back home can be so healing. Especially when it’s a trip surrounded by friends and family. This weekend I was called home to celebrate so many things I love - my Mom, my continued theatre home, places I love, and people who have all made my life better for knowing them. Thank you all for the smiles, laughs, catch ups, and heartfelt returns! Much much love for a trip I didn’t know I needed so much.

WE ARE BACK! We are in the process of rebuilding our company, @firstmariaensemble in NYC again, and partnered with another wonderful classical ensemble company, ETC/NYC, to put together a series of workshops aimed towards raising funds and finding/working with people that may fill the ranks of our professional ensemble. The first one, Sunday November 19th at La MaMa’s rehearsal halls in Noho, will be an intensive, 4 hour monologue gym taught by moi (Celeste Moratti) and another amazing PRA (Patsy Rodenburg Associate), @erinelroth : moving on, we are planning on making these regular occurrences depending on demand, and on exploring the idea workshopping scenes and entire plays. Photo is a rehearsal of the apparition of Banquo’s Ghost from our 2018 MacBeth, with the amazing @boynamedaudrey and @tristancolton as B and M respectively, whom I hope to see there too btw! Oh, and @johnhardinactor aka @hardinaka as one of Banquo’s branches, but in the show he also he played the best Seyton/Porter I have ever seen!).
Link in bio, hope to see you there! 📸 @michael.pauley.la

Even the dress rehearsals look gorgeous! Looking back on some of our beautiful venues. Endstation has been so lucky to partner with so many landmark locations!
