As the #Seahawks prepare to face the #Patriots in the opener tonight, one cool note: Star DL Leonard Williams, who has earned roughly $160M in his career to date, will end his contract with a significant distinction.

By the end of this deal, he’ll be the highest-earning non-QB in NFL history — by a wide margin — with $250M.

Larry Fitzgerald and Ndamukong Suh, also among the NFL’s all-time earnings leaders, were represented by the late, great agent Eugene Parker. Leonard is represented by Eugene’s son, Brandon Parker.

A remarkable family legacy. by @bparker

The #Seahawks and star Leonard Williams have agreed to terms on a 3-year, $90M extension with $56M guaranteed to keep him in Seattle for the foreseeable future.

The three-time Pro Bowler made one last year and is still in his prime at 32. Now, locked in. by @bparker

ESPN Sources:: Six weeks after trading for him, the Jaguars are finalizing a three-year, $60 million contract extension that includes $40 million guaranteed for WR Jakobi Meyers that ties him to Jacksonville through the 2028 season. Meyers was scheduled to be a free agent after this season but not anymore after his agent @bparker negotiated the deal with the Jaguars.

Meyers since joining Jacksonville:

🏈27 catches
🏈355 yards
🏈3 TDs

The team is 5-1 since acquiring him. by @bparker

I had the honor of meeting Mr Eugene Parker when I was 18 years old and a freshman at @cau1988 His daughter @daniellediamondsatl was my friend and classmate. Everytime Eugene came in town we went out to dinner and he always dropped so much knowledge in those conversations. Along w my dad and brother he is one of the wisest men I know. When he passed in 2016 it wasn’t just a loss for the sports community but for the world because he was a good man. Luckily for him and JP his children have went on to make a name for themselves in their own right. You can see Eugene’s influence in each of them. I now consider them family. So to hear a great like @deionsanders speak so highly of him let’s you know the type of person he was. S/O to the family. Your dad left a mammoth legacy‼️ ESD❤️ #ShannonSharpe #DeionSanders #EugeneParker by @bparker
