First bodybuilding show in the books… and I’m beyond grateful for how it went. @stingreyclassic808 Placed in every class I stepped on stage: 🥇 1st – True Novice Class B 🥈 2nd – Masters 35+ Class B 4th – Novice Class B 5th – Open Class C For my first time, everything about show day was new. Different world, different game. And honestly… I know I can be better. But that’s what got me hooked. This prep taught me a lot...about bodybuilding, about discipline, about pushing through when energy is low and hunger is high… and a lot about myself. I enjoyed every part of the journey. Huge thank you to: @_chrisjack904 — for pushing me to step on stage. Coach @hipo.r — for coaching us during the prep and making show day smooth. @r1pfitness team — another family I gained. My @unitedbjjhawaii ohana — your support always amazes me! And last but not least… My wife @angelaleemma and my daughter. You are my foundation. Everything you do behind the scenes makes this possible. I’m just grateful. @shawnrayhawaiianclassic in November? 😂😂 taken in Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort by @bpucci

UNLEASH YOUR GREATNESS Cambridge Dictionary definition: Greatness noun [U] (IMPORTANCE) importance and fame, power, or success. But in fact, what is greatness? It's certainly something important, it's fame, power and success. However, in each of these elements there is a great characteristic disparity. Importance, fame, power, and success are all part of greatness, but they don't define it alone. This is because of how you use each of these features. For a long time I thought getting all these adjectives would help me to unleash my greatness. And for years I fought. I fought to be world champion, I fought to be important or successful and then I realized that this fight was not the real one. Your achievements are worthless if you don't use them for a greater cause. Only titles or achievements do not make you great. The real greatness is the values left behind by you. Finally I can say that my greatness is never giving up! I want to inspire and teach people to live by this. No matter how hard life hits you. Keep fighting. More than world titles, this is the legacy I want to leave to my daughter, my students and the people I love! I wasn't born to win easily, I was born to fight. I was born to defy the odds. I was a 7-month-old premature boy who almost died of double pneumonia at 1 month of life. Who didn't produce growth hormone. And yet I didn't give up on the fight. Lumbar spine surgery, 8 months without walking. Two surgeries to fix two fractures in the orbital floor. Totaling 6 months in vision recovery. This is part of my story and NEVER GIVING UP... FIGHTING is my legacy! #UnleashYourGreatness @evolvemma . . . Next I challenge @willharrisproductions @christianleemma @_masaruu @guli_kozama To share their stories of greatness! by @bpucci
