It’s always a pleasure to revisit a project after a couple of years to see how the mature planting brings your vision to life.

As students head back to school this week, we are reflecting on a wonderful summer working with our interns, Emma and Carter, who brought so much energy, talent, and humour to the office. Thank you Emma and Carter, and best of luck this year at school!!

Excited to reveal a sneak peek at our Ocean Bluff project in Cape Breton. A retaining wall of local sandstone encloses an intimate sunken garden space, which contrasts with expansive open landscapes and ocean views on the north west side of the house. Flowing water enhances the sense of quiet, shelter, and privacy in this jewel of a project. Stay tuned for more!

Progress continues on our residential project in Chester, Nova Scotia.

A huge shoutout to our team for the hard work they’ve put into this build. That effort is reflected in the level of detail and quality of work coming together across the site.

Excited for the final few weeks on this project. Stay tuned for the final result.

We’ve been working on our Old Linden Lane project for several years now; it is gratifying to watch some landscapes now maturing, while newer landscapes, features, and details are just coming together. This special project celebrates the coastal site and Acadian Forest, while providing multiple areas to explore and discover throughout the seasons. Stay tuned for more.

Historic properties has long been a destination on the Halifax Waterfront with its well-preserved heritage architecture and connected public spaces. Our nearly-complete landscape revitalization project restores this significant site with heritage-appropriate lighting and hardscape treatments, using reclaimed granite cobbles, treads, and wall stones, while creating more accessible entrances to commercial uses that face onto the open spaces.

Progress is coming along at this beautiful property in Chester, Nova Scotia.

A lot of hard work is going into this one. Big thanks to our team for the effort they're putting in every day, hand-crafting the details that define this property.

More to come from this site...

We were honoured to receive a Saint John Heritage Award last night, for the first phase of our office facade revitalization. Congratulations to all of the award winners, and kudos to the @cityofsaintjohnnb and their Heritage Committee for recognizing the importance of our built heritage. Thank you to Debortoli Masonry for the meticulous restoration of our brick!
