Today, we are grateful to share the official film poster for our film, “Tying Knots”, a romantic comedy that explores what happens when two independent, fully-formed adults attempt the ultimate merger - marriage 🩵 (Spoiler alert: there’s no user manual - just sharp wit, petty fights and a whole lotta love.) Tying the knot is easy. It’s the daily untying, retying, and trying-not-to-strangle-each-other that gets tricky. Follow us @tyingknotsfilm to catch the debut of our official theatrical trailer on December 11! 🎥 Stay tuned for updates and to learn when and where you can screen this quirky, laugh-out-loud comedy! Creative Director Pitch Deck 🗒️ As my bio says, “I do a lot but I’m efficient in EVERYTHING” It’s true. As a creative I wear several hats but execute all of them well. One of those hats I wear at times is being a “Creative Director”. I originally created my Creative Director Pitch Deck to shoot my shot for an opportunity with @agency3_2 but I thought I did too good of a job on it, to just leave it to potentially one person seeing it. I wanted to pitch myself to YOU 🫵🏾 .. THE PEOPLE and whomever may be in need of a Creative Director to help curate your idea from ideation to execution!💪🏾 ➡️As you swipe through it’ll give you a great scope of how my creative journey started, my background, my skill set, who I’ve had the honor of collaborating with, and why I’m the right person for your job! 🫡 BIG SHOUTOUT TO: @wyntressxion @byjakaylamonay @actinglikebrandi @mykeyiso @kedrin_eon @akidnamedwreck Who’ve allowed me to serve them in a creative capacity, that has helped expand my work and skill set. So if you ever need a Creative Director, holla at me & let’s work… because you CAN’T KNOCK THE HUSTLE! 🧱 taken in Houston, Texas by @brand.goss

Director Reel ‘24📽️ 💡It dawned on me a couple of weeks ago that I get to put together my first (of many) Director Reel for the year! This is something I’ve always wanted to be able to do because in doing so means, that I was blessed to put together a consistent output of work throughout that year.. and that’s what I’m most grateful for. Life be life’n BUT God be God’n! And God saw fit to keep the creative opportunities available to me and allowed me to collaborate with some amazing people, to do some amazing work. ___________________________ The Work: Ebony Love Letter | Client: Artist @wyntressxion A project dated back to 2022 that served as my directorial debut. More to come from this piece of art in the new year. Move’n On Up / SXSW recap | Client: @jotina.buck Had the privilege of capturing her in transition to moving out of the country, as well as document her @rootyokewellness activation at SXSW. The Soul Good Podcast | Client: @britanirose @thesoulgoodpodcast is a mental/spiritual/health podcast that I served as Director & Co-Producer. Thank you for the opportunity and confidence to execute. Progression | Client: Artist @mykeyiso The “Music Film” we produced where I served as Director. I appreciate the creative trust, S/O to @kedrin_eon for phenomenal camera work & editing, and to @actinglikebrandi for helping everything run smooth. She’s Cold | Client: Artist @akidnamedwreck The second “Music Film” I was able to be apart of serving as 1st Assistant Director. S/O to you for the vision and @kev_co for trusting me to be his extra set of eyes and ears. Unreleased Secret Project🤫| @gossfilmsandprojects This was the first project of the year and it’s a passion project I’ve been working on the past 7 years, since 2017… It’s going to be a game changer… So when it’s time. Be READY! ___________________________ I may not be outside much. I don’t do too much talking but one thing about it .. THE WORK GONE SHOW! 💪🏾🧱 🤎 I appreciate everyone that trusted and allowed me to assist in bringing their creative visions to life. MORE EVERYTHING in ‘25! I truly Thank God for it ALL! 🙏🏾 So in true Director fashion.. 2024.. it’s a WRAP! 🎬🥂 taken in Houston, Texas by @brand.goss

It’s always a blessing and gratifying feeling to be able to do the work I am passionate about, but being able to show the work at home makes it even more rewarding. We spun the block and brought our film @tyingknotsfilm back to my home - Houston to screen at the @houstoncomedyfilmfestival this past Sunday. We appreciate the laughs, outbursts, talking back to the screen, positive reactions and love that Houston showed us. It’s always a pleasure to see how the people engage and enjoy our story. 🏅 Our story was enjoyed so much that we were a finalist for best Comedy Film! We’re thankful to be recognized amongst a strong and diverse range of stories. BIG shoutout to @roselynomaka for a well ran festival and for always looking out. Thank you to @coachracquel_tv for a great interview! Thank you to the historic @atthedeluxe theatre for hosting us. Of course, Thank you to everyone who showed up on a Sunday morning to rock with us. We appreciate you! 🩵 And to the city that I live in.. the city that I’m from .. HOUSTON, TX - I love you and this native son will continue to make the city proud. 🤘🏾💜 We Thank God for it ALL! The best is yet to come! 🙏🏾 taken in Houston, Texas by @brand.goss

Houston Premiere of @tyingknotsfilm 🎬🍿 As our film currently is going through its film festival run, I’ve just been thinking about the journey thus far and how gratifying it’s been. Got a chance to premiere our film here at home in Houston and the city showed up, showed out and supported one of its own! Managing expectations … “being perfect” … Trying to see your worth internally that everyone sees externally .. Trying to define who you are .. Maintaining classroom standards .. All the while with a program on your back to lead to the “promise land” .. The burden of being under a microscope.. always having to be “on” and needing to make the right decision all the time .. especially when you’ll be judged differently .. This is a lot for a 19 year old sophomore. But this is Stephon’s plight and his journey to find a balance between everything that he needs to be for others, while trying to figure out who he needs to be for himself. He feels the weight of the world expecting him to show up flawless, him feeling betrayed by his best friend Dwayne by him deciding not join him on the basketball team, the accountability from his friends that he’s not ready to accept and the skewed point of view he has of his body. These are some of the things that college students deal with on a daily … it’s a lot for a 19 year kid … right? What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “AMERICA”? It can be a wide range of ideas.. some good.. some bad. For the students in Dr. Woodson’s class, they express what that means. Some say “money”…”democracy”… “white” but for Dwayne when he thinks of the word America, it makes him think “outsider”. He expresses the feeling of “I don’t belong here” because of the current societal climate and he wants to be in spaces where he feels valued. The discussion pivots … If segregation wasn’t based on the disdain for another group of people based on skin color, discrimination and prejudice - would segregation be a bad thing? Black folks like in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921 better known as “Black Wall Street” flourished with Blacked owned businesses and living.. while being segregated. That was until the city was intentionally bombed by a racist white mob because of hate. Discourse such as this happens daily in HBCU classrooms. This is one of the things that makes the HBCU experience like no other, the free expression of thought cultivated by critical thinking to challenge the status quo. “There’s a unique buzz of energy that an HBCU campus delivers at the start of a new school year - it’s just DIFFERENT.” The HBCU experience is second to none. From the sense of pride in culture, to the establishment of community, to honoring the legacy of those who paved the way for us, and to the ones who are keen on building a brighter future - HBCU truly is HOME. That was my goal with this beautiful opening shot of the oldest school in Austin, TX, the HBCU @hustontillotsonuniversity . I wanted to make it big visually to represent the big impact HBUCs have, and to give a sense of the home-like atmosphere HBCUs give. No matter what HBCU you attend - big school, small school, private institution or public university, remember you can always return home. @gossfilmsandprojects presents: “The College Life” 📚✏️🎓 Logline: A group of friends from various walks of life that have spent a year in college forging an unbreakable bond, continue to set their sights on conquering the campus from the first day of class to final exams, but the HBCU experience can be exhilarating with its complications. This particular story is near and dear to my heart. I’ve been working on this story since 2017, I created this in 2024 as my proof of concept to serve as my pitch to the world that this story is imperative to tell and that I am more than capable of telling it the right way. But I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my creative family which I’m forever indebted. I Thank God for his continued unprecedented favor towards this project, it’s nothing short of amazing. I must give a HUGE shoutout and THANK YOU to Huston-Tillotson University (@hustontillotsonuniversity). Thank you School President/CEO Dr. Melva K. Wallace (@mkwthe7th) for opening up your campus to a fellow HBCU Grad from a rival school lol, thank you to Dr. Shaquille Dillion (@dapperdillon) , Ms. Asia Haney (@asia.elan4), Head of Security Mr. Leslie York and the HTU student body for embracing us, we hope we showcased the beauty of this prestigious HBCU. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch it. Share with someone you think should see it, tag whoever should be put on notice and watch it over and over. I made this FOR YOU, so I hope you enjoy it. The best is yet to come. All Glory to God.
