I’ve always been drawn to a world of possibility and dreams. For years, Brand Bash has come back to the belief that the world needs your magic. It was a phrase that found us early on, and it gave words to something I have always believed: everyone has a spark worth sharing. In the past two years, Brand Bash has grown up, changed shape, and gotten clearer on the work we love most. It was definitely time to (re)introduce our own little bit of magic with a new website and brand. Brand Bash was built from the ground up alongside an incredibly talented team of designers, admin, interns, contractors, friends, and family who have brought endless heart, talent, ideas, and encouragement to building what it is today. We also wouldn’t be here without the amazing clients who have trusted us with their businesses and dreams. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so excited to share this next chapter with you - and to keep bringing more meaningful, hand-crafted, magical things into the world. It's my husband, Greg's bday today so I wanted to share one of his favorite companies that Brand Bash has worked with!! Always an honor taking photos for the good people at @iowarunco 🏃🏻. They're truly a staple of Newbo and our community, serving up the best running shoes to cross-country teams and wanna be runners (looking for that walk-run combo, heavy-on-the-walk shoe) like me! Brand photos should be more than just a great headshot, though those are important. We want to see your tools of the trade, the behind the scenes of how you do what you do (did you have any idea this is what the a shoe storage room looks like?!) and client interactions. Hey! Amber here. It’s October and it’s my absolute favorite month. I love getting cozy and being home more. The fall scents, snacks, and drinks are the best of the year and all my fall knitting projects are starting. October is the month I started to fall in love with my husband 15yrs ago and 3/4 of my house have October birthdays. TBH, still figuring it out. But as we’re approaching launch week of our new brand and website, it’s been the best thing to hear from our clients about what their experience was working with Brand Bash. More than the pretty illustrations and photos - they shared about being heard, being seen, understood, connecting with us, feeling less alone. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. Obviously creating sports hype reels and working on a flower farm are high on my list of possibilities, but until then, the chance to come alongside business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, and incredible non-profits and hear their story, then bring it to LIFE is pretty much a dream job. ✨ Follow us this week for our Brand Bash website launch, a giveaway, a new service announcement, and so. much. more creating, dreaming, and scheming magic into this world! by @brandbash.co

The best part of branding isn’t picking colors or drawing pretty illustrations (though let’s be real, we looove a good illo). It’s when we can create a brand identity that makes someone feel so seen and empowered to share their goodness with the world. Introducing Sharkey Nutrition Collective. Owner, dietitian, and nutritionist Hannah Sharkey came to us with a desire for her practice’s brand to exude with the care, inclusivity, and empathy she brings to her clients every day. Celebrating all foods and representing the many bodies, identities, beliefs, and stories of the people she serves, was super important - so we created a color palette and illustrations that felt like home to her. That’s what we hope people feel when they encounter this brand: cared for, included, and a little more at home in themselves. Congratulations Hannah!!! We’re under a heat advisory, but I’m cranking my a/c down so that I can fully embrace the start of September 🍁🍂. Today I’m wearing an oversized sweatshirt and starting my morning with a steaming mug of coffee - the kind where I hold it with both hands and my fingers don’t touch each other. That’s how you measure the kind of mug a fall morning needs. Fall is Goo Goo Dolls and John Mayer and Bon Iver - it’s the acoustic love songs in a coffee shop my early 2000s self cried to, sang to, and fell in love to - and the soundtrack of limitless dreams and possibilities only an unemployed college student with a liberal arts degree could hold. As a business owner, fall is now our busiest time of year. It brings the kickstart/start fresh/big dreams energy everyone needed - and perhaps chasing after business goals, taking a leap, or finally getting your “ducks in a row” to book the shoot, rebrand, work on your website, or whatever it might be, may just feel better with crisp air and a candle burning - or requires the peace and quiet of a home only kids at school can bring. Or maybe fall is just the giant exhale when the leaves that have been holding on for so long get to finally take their rest and somehow my brain is clearer with a routine in place and a familiar rhythm that brings us back in sync. Even if you’re a summer girlie or (shocking) a winter lover (looking at you, dad) we hope that this season brings whatever you may need - rest after a busy summer, new energy to start a project, or a familiar rhythm to fall back in sync with. Collaboration in branding is so important to us at Brand Bash. We want each of our clients to walk away with a brand that feels like them and feels like their business. When we first started working with Blue Anchor, we went in a more corporate direction with a cooler palette and one bold hero illustration. In talking with Sarah more, we realized she was such a bright soul and needed a brighter palette with more whimsical and fun illustrations. We didn’t want to go literal but wanted to create this feeling of energy and excitement. We took what worked from our first concept and made a final brand that we all loved 💙 by @brandbash.co
