Two years of The Board. A whole lot of discomfort, growth, and becoming. Last week’s retreat on Vashon Island reminded me how much can change when you’re surrounded by people who see you through your hardest moments and push you toward your fullest potential. Nothing energizes me more than talking strategy with people who are hungry to share and learn. Last week, I had the opportunity to spend time with the MBA Professionals Portland cohort from @willamette_mba in the @wkportland office, speaking about strategy, the way we approach the craft, and the experiences that have shaped my perspective over the years. The best part was the conversation. Hearing what students are curious about, the questions they’re asking, and the ideas they’re wrestling with is a reminder that strategy is a craft we build together. A special thanks to @jemachin my very first marketing professor for inviting me to speak to her ‘Creating and Implementing Market-Driven Strategies’ course. It was an honor. Thanks for having me.
