20 years ago, I was 9 months pregnant with Kyah and working General Conference and Music & the Spoken Word. I had her just a day or two later.

One of my favorite memories from that weekend was the director asking what I was naming her, and then putting Kyah’s name in the show credits with mine. They used to roll all of our names back then, so technically, she made her first TV credit before she was even born. ❤️

And now somehow that little baby is 20.

She’s my 10/4 good buddy baby, and what a wild, beautiful 20 years it has been. This girl has changed my life in more ways than she will ever know.

This was the first birthday I couldn’t celebrate with her in person since she moved to Texas, and I definitely felt it.

Happy 20th birthday, Kyah. I love you more than words can say. No matter how old you get or how many miles are between us, you’ll always be my girl. ❤️ by @brandyvega77

For the first time in 22 years, I’m not working General Conference weekend. A little bittersweet, but I’m soaking up something pretty special instead. ❤️

We’re aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas with my two best guys in the world! We even took a stroll through Central Park… on our ship. How cool is that?!

Tomorrow is Kyah’s birthday, and I sure wish she was here with us. Happy early birthday to my beautiful girl! ❤️

And even though you can’t be here on the ship with us, you can do the next best thing 😉 If you could use a little extra hope, peace, or inspiration this weekend, General Conference is streaming LIVE around the world.

Happy birthday to my amazing mom Sherri Hathcock McDaniel❤️

Many have asked why we bought a home in Arizona. The number one reason is simple: family.

Nothing is more important to me.

My mom has some pretty serious health challenges, and nobody is guaranteed tomorrow. I don’t want to look back someday and wish I had made more time. I want to make the time now. 🙏🏼

The greatest gift isn’t presents. It’s presence.🥰

I’m currently in Utah, and Utah will continue to be a huge part of our lives. We’re keeping our home here, and nothing changes with Promise2Live. But having a home in Arizona means I can spend more time with my mom and my sister, be there for the everyday moments, and make memories while we have the opportunity.

And somehow, we found the perfect property that can serve a dual purpose. A place for our family to gather and heal, but also a place where we can bring people together, build connection, create opportunities, host retreats and hopefully do a whole lot of good.

Sometimes what we need personally can also become something that blesses others.

Mom, I love you more than words can say. I’m so grateful for you, for our family, and for every day we get together.

Confession: I don’t usually get nervous before I speak. Today, I did. 😳

Not because of the size of the crowd, but because of who was in the room. So many incredible people on the front lines of building stronger, more connected communities. It was intimidating, invigorating and an absolute honor. 🙏🏼
