I want to thank @brandyvega77 for all her hard work on behalf of teens and mental health. and @nomadsplace For putting together a great band, a heartfelt thanks to our musical director @pianomalone on Keys and Vocal coach Backup Singer @nataschavox not least @lukesingerofsongs and @ghostrocketmusic for all their coordination and promotion of the event. from Hayden Williams Moran “It was such an honor to be invited to perform at Promised to Live. From playing a superhero "IRIS MAINE" 💙 in @lotwhitedragon 🎬 to speaking on stage about what being a hero (in real life) really means… 🥹

honored to speak at the beautiful @promise2liveofficial event about courage, mental health + and the deeper messages being our film 🎬 "why even superheroes need help too." (See a clip from my speech in the post before this one.)

Also fun fact… with all these speaking events & red carpets... & even on the day to day... fashion really used to overwhelm & freak me out. 😂 I was always so worried about wearing the “right” thing or what other people would think. (these silly thoughts still pops up sometimes) 😅

But Now my number 1 rule is pretty simple: does it make me feel more alive? More powerful? More free? More confident? More ME?

If yes… wear the damn thing. 😂

So grateful to @regardstylehouse for styling me & helping me find special pieces that make me feel exactly that.... this badass suit by @catouwear ✨(highly recommend checking then out)

I’m so honored to get to play "IRIS MAINE" in Legend of the White Dragon @lotwhitedragon 🎬 opposite my dear friend Jason David Frank.

This film is so special to me... and Getting to speak @promise2liveofficial in Hollywood for suicide prevention month and about the deeper message behind this film... meant more to me than you know. 🥹

JDF and I talked so much about wanting this film to help people through whatever they were going through. That mattered to both of us. And I’m going to keep showing up and sharing this message, just like I promised him. 🙏

I just really, really wish he was still here doing this with us. 😞

Everyone is carrying something we may never see. Please be kind... to yourself and others... There’s just so much we don’t know... or that we often misunderstand, misinterpret etc

I know what it feels like to carry grief, guilt, and shame... and I’ve tried to heal through anger and judgment, and it only made the darkness... darker.

But What’s actually helped me heal is love. And not just any kind of love .... but The brave, compassionate kind of love... the kind that is actually able to let go and forgive even when it's incredibly hard... and especially to forgive the person that it's usually the hardest to forgive... myself. That helps me say “I need help” even when I’m terrified, and actually let someone in.

Even superheroes need help too.

A hero isn’t someone who never needs saving. It’s someone brave enough to ask for help and let love in.

I need that reminder too. 💙

An experience I’ll never forget!!! Malibu and Hollywood were amazing! Thank you @hollandonholiday for letting us stay at your beautiful home!! It was everything we needed and more! The people we met at the @promise2liveofficial event were amazing and some became lifelong friends that I’m blessed to know!!! Memories I’ll cherish forever! Was invited to sit at my gf/my Straight Talk cohost Dani @belivewithdanikellyy (Former Brazilian Cultural Ambassador to China) table and beside my @secretknock.co friend Actress Claudia Wells ( Back To The Future…remember Michael Fox girlfriend?!)

I was delighted by the musical performances with a first bilingual song by Actress @shanna_forrestall and her friends (who lost her husband to suicide) and then from @loveonthespectrumnetflix her original song on the hit show Emma Sue Miller!

Kudos to Brandy Vega for a brilliant event highlighting my favorite kind of people/celebrities…individuals who are take their limelight and shine it on areas of temporary darkness…like suicide.
