We had so much fun at our first social this year! Meeting new people, playing new games, and eating ice cream was the best way to spend today. We are looking forward to our next social and are so grateful for those who could come today! Also, a big thank you to our Boosters! by @braswellchoir

Congratulations to our students advancing to Round 2 of the All-State Audition Process! We are so incredibly proud of every student who put themselves out there for the first round, worked hard, prepared their music, and gave it their all. Auditioning takes courage, and every student who participated should be proud of the growth and dedication they showed throughout this process. Congratulations all!!❤️ by @braswellchoir

🎶EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING ACROSS THE BRASWELL CHOIR ZONE!🎶 This week, TWO grants were awarded to support our choir students and our community! 🎉 🎹 Our first grant for Braswell Choir, titled “From Practice Room to Performance: Equipping Our Choirs,” will provide brand-new digital pianos for all three of our choir practice rooms! These instruments will give our students even more opportunities to practice, strengthen their music-reading skills, and grow as confident musicians both in and out of the classroom. We are so excited to see how these new resources will support our students and continue to strengthen our growing choir program! 🎶🐾 🎶 Our second grant was for all of our Braswell Zone Choirs, and it is titled: “Leave No Generation Behind: A Musical Bridge Between Young and Old” This initiative brings the gift of live choral music directly to senior citizens throughout Denton ISD neighborhoods through a collaborative, multi-campus performance program uniting the talented choir students of Navo Middle School, Rodriguez Middle School, and Braswell High School. By stepping beyond the walls of the classroom and into the heart of the community, these young performers will deliver uplifting, off-campus concerts that brighten the lives of elderly residents ; many of whom may have limited access to live cultural experiences. This cross-campus collaboration not only showcases the exceptional musical talent cultivated across Denton ISD, but also instills in students a deep sense of civic responsibility, empathy, and the enduring power of music to heal, inspire, and unite people across generations. We are so proud of what is happening across the Braswell Choir Zone and incredibly grateful for the support that allows our students to learn, grow, perform, and give back through music. The future is bright! 🎶 by @braswellchoir
