On Sunday I had a wild idea of hosting a pop-up market in my front yard and by Thursday I was able to pull it off with the help of 7 other women!

Thank you all for your love and support always! We will do it again soon - maybe when the weather cools down a bit!

So happy to have finally tested out this beautiful freshly milled Rouge de Bordeaux flour from @staffoflifewheat 🤎. Their mission to bring wheat growing back to San Diego is something I’m so excited to support!

There’s truly nothing like taking a bite of fresh out of the oven sourdough made with whole wheat. I feel like we’ve all been robbed by being fed bland white bread most of our lives.

I have a few more tweaks to make, but this loaf is getting close. I can’t wait to add it to my menu and bring this hearty, wholesome sourdough to your tables. 🌾🤎

Day one of the Lavender Festival at @dailybloomslavenderfarm lavender farm was a huge success!🪻

Photos and videos don’t do justice of how beautiful this property is. The air was filled with freshly cut lavender and there were so many awesome vendors to shop from.

If you missed it this weekend, there’s one more weekend, June 27th & 28th! We will be there on the 27th selling bread and treats 💜

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, come see me at the lavender festival at the Daily Blooms Farm in DeLuz! I’ll be there Saturday the 13th and Saturday the 27th from 11:00-3:00. This is a family friendly event! Lots of vendors, food, music, and you can even pick your own bundles of lavender in their beautiful lavender fields 💜.

My favorite time saving hack when making scones 🫶🏽A little bit of dry ingredients with frozen butter and chop it up in the food processor. I use my food processor sooo much in my bakery. It’s one of my most used tools. I have this one linked in my Amazon storefront if you’re looking for a good one!
