Why is this happening? Because farmers market season is upon us, and starts this Saturday at 9am.

I'm back with the usual thirteen flavors of sourdough bread, cold to go bagels or bagel sandwiches served hot, bialys, Marquette 's Number One Knish! (the only knish), cookies, sure but you'll have to stop and see what else is new in person. I've missed you.

*I haven't raised prices in five years, so do all of us vendors a solid and bring small bills, please and thank you. by @breadbergy

Actual long-fermented, sourdough demi-baguettes, made by one single human's hands, zero automation, paper packaging, baked once a week (Thursdays), no employees working for minimum wage?

As long as you know 40% of all food in this country is thrown in the trash, you can try to be the other 60%.

Consider this Easter your opportunity to move away from automation, single serving, plastic wrapped, crappy chocolates, and instead make a sandwich for you and friends. Feed your neighborhood rabbit/squirrel/chipmunk some vegetable scraps.

Nobody said you couldn't have Bergy Bread as your "one thing"...
Just a reminder, I'm baking and delivering once a week, Thursdays, and you can order from me here by Tuesday at noon and I'll deliver to Lakeshore Depot around noon on Thursday. In case the roads are bad, I can deliver in person (fuck ICE). Whatever's clever. by @breadbergy

Happy New Year Bread Heads!
It's early 2026, soup season, and you may lack the wherewithal and/or energy to make your own bread...
That's where I come in. I would like it if you left your house, if for no other reason than to get some fresh air, or direct sunlight, but if you're up for it, go to Lakeshore Depot, gab with whoever is there, grab some cider, and some top shelf Bergy Bread.
EDIT: Do you dread artificial intelligence replacing you or your friends? Fear not! I'm just one guy making bread with my clean hands in the middle of the night listening to late night radio. How much damage could I do with just...two hands? by @breadbergy
