In between traveling and flying, I found the time to reminisce and sit down. FEEL the last month, this amazing experience.
How focking grateful I am to have met and have practiced yoga with all these beautiful souls. Even while I'm typing this tears of joy roll down my face.
I feel truly blessed. Words are not sufficient to describe how I feel. It's weird how three weeks feel like they were three days and how fast time seems to move.
I will forever remember the fire shala as a place where I truly felt accepted for every bit of goofball I am. Where people communicated with genuine intent and were mindful of their words. Where laughter and jokes were never far away and where my true emotions were always welcomed.

Thailand part 1:
Khao Sok national park
Wat Pa Tam Wua, the monastery in the forest
Kanchanaburi and some bit of Chaing Mai.

The Start of my 2nd year of traveling, I kicked off on Phuket but quickly made my escape to a quieter more in tune with nature destination, Khao Sok national park, absolutely beautiful and felt as the right way to start my travels. I had an absolute blast with my fellow backpackers.

I made my way to Chiang Mai cause I had set out to do a vipassana, a very long and tiresome road to with a 13h night train and a 6h bus ride I finally made it to Wat Pa Tam Wua, the monastery in the forest where I would do 8 days of meditation, eat very sober food and spend time reading or walking, helping the monks with there daily tasks. Honestly a very interesting experience on one side I was very happy to leave after 8days but I would immediately go back and find the peace I achieved there again. Not to mention all the different and interesting travelers I met there, with most of whom I'm still have a regular chat or a call.
Truly blessed for this experience 😊

A hymn to Japanese cuisine.
Sapporo did not disappoint, one of the best culinary experiences I've had. Amazing products and very well priced, I hope I can come back sooner than later.

I absolutely love the snowy pictures and videos I took, I love the funny view of the vending machine with a pile of snow next to it.

Thailand part 2:
Bangkok and Ayutthaya.
In 2 parts, one before: Japan, South-Korea and America and one part after to see my mum and show her the backpacker life hahahah

The total chaos, the night markets, the ping-pong shows which we kindly thanked for and went to something more eum less sketchy hahaha

Bangkok was an adventure. Ayutthaya was incredibly beautiful, happy to have shared it with these beautiful people. by @brecht.95

You have a layover of a day in Seoul so the good traveler you are, you start to explore.

With a heavy heart I have to say goodbye to these beautiful places and these amazing and generous people.
It's a very torn goodbye, I'm looking forward to the next adventure but it's very emotional having to say goodbye to an unbelievable and 1000 times better than imagined adventure.
I arrived as a green boy and have the feeling I leave as a proud man, I've learned incredible skills and seen places the average Aussie never sees in his life.
The knowledge that I will not be able to settle or live in Belgium weighs heavy, but after this adventure, I'm more certain than ever I'd like to live somewhere else. Where I'm eternally grateful for all the opportunities, education, morals and values Belgium has given me. I feel I no longer fit in there.
But those are worries for another day. For now I look, with some tears and gratefully, back at this incredible adventure.
2 years ago where I had probably my darkest days depression, break-up, quitting my job and was ready to do stupid things. I had the idea, the long lost childdream to find a ranch and become a cowboy. While Canada was my first thought, Australia proved to be easier to get a work visa and the rest is history, a cowboy, fencer, Belgian bull rider, moto riding musterer I've become.
