HELLO, 44 CLUB! 🎾🏆

FIRST MATCH’s✅
FIRST WIN’s✅

What a way to kick off our D3 season! 🤍

These ladies SHOWED UP today. All four lines battled, all four lines won, and all 44 points are coming home to Nellie Gail. 🔥

But the best part? Watching this team be a TEAM. Cheering each other on from the sidelines, celebrating every win, picking each other up, and being there for one another — on and off the court. 🤍

For our very first match together, we could not be more proud of the fight, the energy, the sportsmanship and, most of all, the friendships already being built.

4 lines. 4 wins. 44 points.
Not a bad little season opener for the Baddies. 💅🏼🎾😉

Eighteen years ago, I spent a semester living at the BYU Jerusalem Center. Those four months changed me and solidified my testimony of Jesus Christ. Growing up Mormon, I always believed in Him but that semester secured everything I had been taught. It was an honor to travel around Israel visiting sacred places where Jesus was born, taught about God, performed miracles, gathered disciples, challenged religious leaders, and ultimately where He was crucified, and then resurrected.

Looking back, I’m deeply grateful for that experience. It anchored my faith in a way that nothing else could.

The other night, I almost bailed last second on going to a Bunco party. I was forty minutes late because I had to wait for Tanner to come home from practice, I was starving because my day was so hectic and I didn’t stop to eat a substantial meal, and I was unsure if I felt up to socializing with a cute group of ladies, many of whom I didn’t know well.

I went and walked away $85 richer, well technically $80 richer, because everyone brought $5 to add to our money pot. I had the highest points and most buncos out of the twenty ladies. That part doesn’t matter. It’s obviously fun winning money and I’m grateful for the contribution toward my tennis lessons. 🙏🏽

Here’s my point. Be the person to plan the girls night. Be the instigator. Go to the girls night. Include. Invite. Don’t be shy. Get outside your comfort zone. Stop waiting for someone else to start the conversation or make the plan. It can be as easy as setting up some card tables to play a simple, social dice game or asking a friend to meet for a walk. Don’t over complicate it or overthink it. We all want good, solid friends. by @bredaly

🎉 F I V E 🎉

Five years with my baby Tate! Tate is a bundle of joy. He’s so smart, very silly, adventurous, and empathetic. We went around the dinner table at Cheesecake Factory tonight telling Tate what we love about him. Tanner was so cute and said, “Tate brings the vibes” 🥹 So sweet. Our life would be boring without Tate. Love him so much! by @bredaly

I love a sunset. Sunrises are cool too but who’s awake that early?! No thank you, haha.

I love a new year too because it feels like a sunset. Sunsets sit at the edge of an ending and a beginning.

A sunset marks the close of a day. Everything that happened, whether good or bad, is all set. You can’t change it anymore. You can only take what you learned that day and reflect. That mirrors the end of a year when you acknowledge the highs and lows and then contemplate what you want the feeling of the new year to be.

As the light fades with a sunset, another day is forming just beyond it. Night leads to morning, just as one year yields to another.

A new year, like a sunset, invites pause. An unspoken moment to breathe, reset, and look ahead with intention.

I don’t write a specific list of to-do’s for the new year but I do consider what my purpose will be. What are my hopes, my aspirations, my objectives, and my direction? Did I stay in line in 2025 with what is ideal for my highest and best self? Or do I need to tweak some things?

So here’s to letting go of the past, reflecting toward the future, and stepping into a new year with hope! Cheers to 2026! by @bredaly

This was a special Thanksgiving. The first time we were together, just our own little family. We have travelled the last five years to be with family but we decided to stay home this year. It was nice to not stress about packing and stay up all night making sure the house was perfectly in order to leave. It was nice to not stress about invading other people’s space and to not feel overwhelmed by the constant, happy chaos of extended family time. It was nice to wake up at home, wear my grungy clothes and clean around the house while Scott cooked our entire meal (I glazed the orange rolls 💁🏽‍♀️). It was nice to walk around the lake after our 1:30 feast and enjoy the gorgeous 75 degree weather. It was just nice to be with Scott and my kids.

Since school started in August and then sports seasons ramped up soon after, we have been going nonstop. We’re at such a magical stage of life. It’s nice to shut off the daily alarms for a week and just be. Just be alone as a family to be honest.

We are surrounded by wonderful family and friends who we love and adore but it’s important to just be together as a family unit. Scott and I are very intentional every day in taking time to nurture our own relationship and give our kids the opportunity to learn and grow in their sibling dynamic. It’s fun to watch them interact and of course annoying to listen to the fighting but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
