A dream come true.

When I was four years old, I watched the Atlanta Braves on TBS for the first time. I remember hearing the legendary voice of Skip Caray talk about Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, and John Smoltz. That day in my childhood home, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.

I didn’t want to play in the Big Leagues, but I wanted to be a Play-by-Play Broadcaster at the highest level.

I made sure I remembered where my feet were when I was at Clinton High School, @piedmontuniversity, @raftersbaseball, or @beksportsnd. But I always knew where I wanted to go.

The Good Lord allowed me to make it there these past couple of nights in Houston. It was truly the best weekend of my life.

I was so humbled and thankful to be able to sit in the seat of @bikoricosuave. He is the Voice of our Sport and a broadcasting legend. He has had a massive impact on me, and @bananaball would not be where it’s at today without Biko.

I also was blessed to share the broadcast booth with one of the most brilliant sports minds I’ve ever met in @o_my_josh_. He made the broadcasts, our chat with Roger Clemens, and the weekend as a whole so smooth and enjoyable. I am grateful to call Josh a friend and one of the best broadcasters I’ve ever sat next to.

That four year kid who fell in love with baseball and broadcasting with his dad wouldn’t believe what happened this weekend. What I’m able to be apart of here with @thetexastailgaters and Banana Ball is so special.

And the good news is, we’re just getting started 🤠 taken in Daikin Park by @brettmloftis
