I was truly given the opportunity of a lifetime, and I can walk away knowing I gave it everything I had. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.

Running has been the driving part of my identity for most of my conscious life. It has been the thing that has consumed my mind, body, and soul, and it shaped how I spent nearly every minute of every day for the past 13 years. It built me up, broke me down, and taught me many lessons along the way. It taught me how to dream big, fake confidence until it became reality, and take losses in stride. I gave this sport everything I had and it paid me back ten-fold. I had the privilege to spend my college experience being surrounded by like-minded people, chasing our dreams together. I got to learn what my physical and emotional limits were. I learned from legendary coaches that have probably forgotten more about the sport than I will ever know (Coach Geiger and Coach Vin). I trained with and raced against the best athletes in the world and got to do it in world class facilities with unparalleled support from trainers, doctors, and team staff. I was constantly surrounded and motivated by high-achieving, driven people. I got to represent two world class universities (NC State and University of Virginia). And most importantly, I got to build lifelong relationships with people from all over the world. Im beyond grateful for my experiences and beyond thankful for the relationships I have made (shown and not shown). As of today, I am a washed up college athlete <3 taken in TrackTown USA by @brettpgardner

Here are some pictures of the people who made my final year at NC State so memorable. I am forever thankful to all the people (shown and not shown) in the Wolfpack family who have been by my side for the past 5 years. I could not have won an ACC title, qualified for multiple national championships, graduated with a mechanical engineering degree, or thrived in this environment without the friendship and support I have received from this community. I’ve learned something from each and every one of you, and I’m leaving NC State a better man because of it. I’ll be announcing my plans for the future soon. taken in NC State University by @brettpgardner

No trip to Oregon is complete without a stop at a Portland thrift shop

On another note, the love and support I’ve experienced from my friends, family, neighbors, teammates, coaches, and competitors has been unbelievable. I am extremely grateful to all of you for going out of your way to encourage and support me as I chase my dreams.

Summary of my month in Oregon 💦🚧🏃‍♂️
-NCAA Championship (15th)
-Portland Track Fest (School Record + OTQ)
-Olympic Trials (26th)

I fell a little short of my goals, but it was a great learning experience. I will be better next time around. Expect something big in 2028! 🇺🇸 taken in Hayward Field by @brettpgardner

“The road to success is always under construction. - Lily Tomlin” - Ross “Wiz” Widinski

There have been quite a few detours along the way, but I am just trying to follow in the footsteps of @jgavgaynor and remember that success doesn’t happen over night. Trusting the process is part of the process.

8 years and 16,000 miles in the making…

Breaking four in the mile, like most runners, has been a dream for me since day one. After eight years of dreaming and quite a few miles, obstacles, and memories, I was able to make it a reality. In addition, I was able to get my first collegiate race/heat win! I’m grateful for all who have helped and supported me on this journey so far, and I’m excited to continue on it and make more memories along the way. taken in Boston University by @brettpgardner
