How lucky I’ve been to represent the University of Virginia for the last 4 years. To be surrounded by an incredible group of people, and to be in an environment that pushes me to be my best on and off the track is something that I will never take for granted.

Although 3rd place in the 1500m certainly wasn’t the finish I dreamed of to cap off my last NCAAs, I’m feeling proud of the progress I’ve made in the last month and excited to keep building. Competing in the NCAA has pushed me to heights higher than I would’ve ever imagined 4 years ago, but also left me feeling hungry and capable of much much more. I’m grateful for the amazing memories with the @uvatfcc family, and also thankful to have my fire for the sport burning stronger than ever.

Very excited for a long summer of racing ahead, as well as a new chapter beginning soon as I close the door on this one! 🧡💙

And that’s a wrap…

What a privilege it has been these past four years to be a part of this team and have the opportunity to study and run at UVA. I’ll forever cherish the people I’ve met and memories I’ve made here. Thank you to Coach Vin and Coach Dunbar for giving me this opportunity, to everyone who has supported me along the way, and to those who’ve made this experience as special as it has been. In particular, it wouldn’t have been the same without Gary putting up with my weird foreigner antics (and the weekly Kroger runs). All good things must come to an end, and winning ACCs as a team and getting my second NCAA outdoor qualification is a pretty damn good way to end it.

Time for new adventures in the UK, where I’ll be pursuing my master’s degree at Oxford.
