ten years in and lots of new faces, so we wanted to take a minute to (re)share what we’re all about 🫶🏼

in 2016, we started brewing beer as a way to fund community projects that help people thrive in the places they call home.

never did we think such a daft idea would last this long, let alone support over 100,000 people along the way - which feels wild to type, even now.

since day one, we’ve believed the world could be a fairer place for many than it is today. but this needs companies and movements that exist to serve society as a whole, rather than to benefit a privileged few.

so ten years in, we are committed more than ever to building the kind of company we’d like to see more of - serving people over profit, and leaving the world a little fairer than we found it. taken in Glasgow, United Kingdom by @brewgooder

over the weekend, the far-right rallied again, openly throwing their n*zi salutes, glass bottles, and abhorrent chants.

what these bigoted fascists forget is that glasgow has been built by people who come here. from the irish and italian communities who arrived in the 19th and 20th centuries, to the south asian families who opened businesses and put down roots, to the refugees welcomed here today - this city has a rich history of welcoming people seeking opportunity, safety, and a place to call home.

and we’re SO much better for it. our nhs wouldn’t function without migrant workers. same goes for social care, construction, our tech sector. plus, our food scene is one of the best in the UK, and it didn’t happen by chance. did you know the chicken tikka masala was invented here?

people make glasgow is one of our great civic slogans. but the fuller truth is this: people who come here make glasgow.

being glaswegian has never been about where you’re from. it’s about being part of a community built on kindness, solidarity, and looking out for each other. that’s what’s under threat when the far-right takes to our streets - not just the safety of our neighbours, but the very thing that makes glasgow what it is.

immigration is a total blessing. and the counter-protests - vastly outnumbering the racists, as always - proved that racism has no place here, and never will 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

off-line, on the road 🚌

deeelightful vibes down at the @uksurfskateexpo in newquay last weekend with @passengerclothing and UK’s surf community - getting cans into hands and celebrating everything this collab is all about 🌊

the passenger bus was the spot to be for happy hour - collage workshops, merch, fireside talks and tunes keeping the vibes flowing all day long 🙂‍↕️
