Break Records Even When You’re Down (BREWYD). High Performance in Business and Sport.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
📢 We're heading to Aotearoa!

On Friday 20 November, BREWYD and @triathlonnz are hosting Leadership Beyond the Algorithm, our first High Performance in Business event in New Zealand, as part of the World Triathlon Cup Tauranga 2026.

The idea behind it is simple: the systems that build world-class athletes can build world-class leaders and teams.

Pete de Wet, CEO of Triathlon New Zealand, will welcome guests. Our CEO, Warren Anderson, will then give the opening keynote, "Maximising Human Potential: Leadership Beyond the Algorithm", on the BREWYD Human Stack™ and why sport systems outperform traditional management theory.

Warren won’t just be talking about performance. Two days later, he’ll be putting it to the test in the age-group race at the World Triathlon Cup Tauranga. 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

After that, Tauranga's own @eva_goodisson a New Zealand representative on the World Triathlon Championship Series, joins Reuben Tucker, Managing Director, Westpac Institutional & Business Banking, and Chair of Triathlon NZ on a panel about how elite performers prepare, decide and recover under pressure. Two more exciting panellists to be announced soon.

We're especially proud of the venue. We'll be one of the first events held at He Puna Manawa, Tauranga's brand-new library and community hub, which opens its doors this October.

If you lead people in business, this one’s for you. Come and learn the systems behind elite athlete performance, and how to use them to drive business results in your organisation

📅 Friday 20 November, 5:45 pm – 8:15pm
📍 He Puna Manawa, 95 Willow Street, Tauranga
🎟️ Free to attend, but places are strictly limited. Register now to secure yours

Sydney - you are next!

Announcing Sinclair Taylor as MC and panelist for The Transferable Laws of Excellence, a High Performance in Business Event hosted by @rowingnsw and BREWYD.

This exclusive evening brings together rowing leaders, coaches, high-performance practitioners and senior business leaders, C-suite executives, founders, presidents and managing directors, for an evening of insight, discussion and networking. Drawing on the latest research in behavioural science, sports psychology and human performance, the session explores how world class athletes and world class organisations build sustained excellence, and how those same principles apply to leadership, culture and performance, on the sand and in the boardroom.

Sinclair will guide the evening from the front of the room, and he'll also take a seat on our panel. A former elite athlete and long-term club board member, he is President of UTS Haberfield Rowing Club and Neo Cycling Club and helps guide Rowing NSW. He is also CEO of Erilyan Group, leading operations in the construction sector, with a career that spans banking, construction and philanthropy.

That mix of sport and business is what our panel, The Science of Elite Performance: From World Championship Athletes to Billion-Dollar Companies, is all about. What does it take to lead, execute and stay disciplined under pressure, on the water and in the boardroom? Sinclair has lived both.

More panelists will be announced in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on this space.

Friday 13 November, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. Places are limited. Agenda and Ticket link in comments.

Plenty from us lately about our events in Singapore, Sydney and soon New Zealand. Our athletes had their own focus. Pontevedra. And what a week it was.

@lukewillian finished 8th in the world in the 2026 World Triathlon Championship Series, his third year running inside the series top 10. A season built on a World Cup win in Chengdu, a podium in Yokohama and consistency against the very best. Top 10 in the world three years in a row is not luck. That is a system working.

@maggie_sandles finished 5th in the world at the PTVI Women’s World Championship, with @laurennsprague guiding her through every stroke, pedal and stride. Two days later the pair were back out for the Para Mixed Relay, and Australia took silver. A world top five and a world championship medal in the same week.

Behind every one of those results sits a coach. Congratulations to @warwickdalziel, who guides Luke, and to Samantha Janssen, who coaches Maggie and Lauren. A special mention to BREWYD coach @danatkinstraining, whose athlete Matt Hauser won the Grand Final in a sprint for the line and finished the year second in the world.

Athletes who show up every day. Coaches who build them. A support crew who never stand on the podium but are in every result.

Every BREWYD program directly funds elite athlete pathways like these. When an organisation builds high performance with us, an athlete gets to keep chasing theirs.

Congratulations Luke, Maggie and Lauren.

World Para Triathlon Championships, Pontevedra, 2026

What a weekend of racing! Was really happy to be in amongst it and to put down a performance that was reflective of a consistent block in Switzerland.

And to be able to represent in the Australian relay team is always exciting and special!

Thanks to everyone who helped me get to the start line, particularly @trijugglinglife and @laurennsprague. Could not do it without you!

And special mention to @vicinstsport, @justpedal_au, @dylanalcottfoundation, @brewyd.official, and friends and family who have all supported me along the way.

See you next year for some exciting racing! taken in Pontevedra, Spain by @brewyd.official

Congratulations to Luke Willian on finishing 8th in the 2026 World Triathlon Series!

That makes it three consecutive years finishing in the World Series Top 10 — an outstanding achievement and a testament to Luke’s consistency and hard work.

In the Grand Final in Pontevedra, Luke finished 21st on a tough and demanding course.

With a few events still remaining in 2026, there’s more racing to come.

Some days the result doesn’t reflect your goals but you walk away with your head held high knowing you left it all out there.

Incredibly proud to finish 8th in the World Series in front of some of the biggest crowds I’ve ever raced in front of on a brutal course. 3rd year in a row I’ve been in the top 10 in the world.

Shout out to my roomie @matt_hauser for an insane performance.

Now to France for a week for a French GP before flying home. ✌️

Race week in Pontevedra.

The 2026 World Triathlon Championship Finals start tomorrow in Spain, and three BREWYD athletes will be racing for Australia.

Luke Willian lines up in the Elite Men's World Championship Final on Sunday, ranked 8th in the world. From the Olympic start line in Paris to a shot at a world title, Luke keeps raising the bar, and we couldn't be prouder to be in his corner.

Maggie Sandles, ranked 5th in the world and last year's World Championship silver medallist, races the PTVI Para World Championships with Lauren Sprague guiding her through every stroke, pedal and stride. Maggie arrives off a huge season with wins at Devonport and the Oceania Championships. Two athletes, one race, complete trust in each other. Trust like that is built, not given.

Every BREWYD program directly funds pathways like these.

To every athlete, coach, guide and support crew member heading to Pontevedra this week, we wish you the very best. Trust the work, enjoy the moment, and go out there and break some records.

Go @lukewillian Go @maggie_sandles and @laurennsprague 💪

Break Records, Even When You're Down (BREWYD) is proud to announce our new partnership with @rowingnsw

Together we're hosting The Transferable Laws of Excellence, a High Performance in Business event. It's our first event outside Triathlon, and this time the focus is beach sprint rowing.

Athletes sprint down the sand, launch into a boat, row hard through the surf and race back to shore, all in around three minutes. Beach sprint rowing is fast, physical and about to make history; it's making its Olympic debut at LA28. Most people haven't seen it yet. You're about to.

What separates elite performers, whether they're sprinting off the beach or leading a global business, isn't talent alone. It's the mindset, systems and behaviours that let them perform consistently under pressure. That's the conversation we're bringing to Sydney this November.

📍 Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, 199 George Street, Sydney
📅 Friday 13 November 2026, 4:30pm - 7pm AEDT

Every dollar raised goes toward an eight-week high-performance development program for elite beach sprint rowers, facilitated by World Champion, Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games coaches. By joining us, you're not just securing a seat. You're helping build the next generation of Australian beach sprint talent.

Places are limited. Agenda details and ticket link in comments below.

@rowingnsw is excited to announce a new partnership with Break Records, Even When You're Down @brewyd.official , a human performance company dedicated to helping organisations and athletes perform at their best.

Every commercial program BREWYD runs directly funds elite athlete development. One of their athletes, Luke Willian, who competed in Triathlon at the Paris 2024 Olympics, has spoken openly about how their support kept him in the sport. Beach sprint rowing will be the second sport BREWYD backs, with an eight-week high-performance development program launching later this year, facilitated by World Champion, Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games coaches.

We're proud to be partnering with BREWYD, and we're looking forward to bringing our two worlds together for The Transferable Laws of Excellence - a High Performance in Business Event, set for Friday 13 November at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

Break Records Even When You're Down (BREWYD) is proud to share that our Founder and CEO, Warren Anderson, delivered the keynote address at the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games All Staff Forum in August.

The forum, themed "Team Sport Everyday," brought the whole department together to celebrate a year of culture-building, ahead of a landmark era for Queensland sport as the state heads toward the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Warren spoke on building human performance capacity - the foundations that allow people and teams to perform under pressure, adapt to change, and sustain high standards over time. It's a conversation that sits at the heart of everything we do at BREWYD, and we were honored to bring it to a department whose everyday work touches elite and community sport across the state.

It was a privilege to be in the room with a team that takes culture, performance, and each other seriously.

A few days before London hosted the WTCS, we brought leaders from sport and business together aboard the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Lounge for the London T100 Triathlon High-Performance Breakfast.

The question on the table: what does high performance really look like when you're building teams, cultures and organisations, not just athletes?

Ruth Daniels, CEO of British Triathlon, and Amy Hall opened the morning with a reminder that sustainable performance depends on investing in the whole pipeline - from grassroots participation through to elite athletes on the world stage, not just the podium. Ruth has been instrumental in bringing the World Triathlon Championship Series back to London for the first time in over a decade.

Warren Anderson then shared BREWYD's work on the science of motivation. Skill, he argued, is only half the equation - without the will to use it, skill goes nowhere. He walked through the three things that actually drive motivation: the leader themselves, the environment they build, and the person's own wiring - what they move towards, and what they move away from. And before any leader can motivate someone else, he posed three questions worth sitting with: Do I choose to lead? Do I live my values? Do I set the pace?

Warren then chaired the panel discussion, bringing it all home with Ruth Daniels, PTO Chairman Peter Hutton, Commonwealth and Olympic medallist Sam Dickinson, and rising British Triathlon star Sophie Alden. Sam, a Paris 2024 Olympic Mixed Relay bronze medallist, spoke to the mindset and habits it takes to perform under pressure at the highest level. Sophie, part of the British Triathlon World Class Programme, brought the perspective of the next generation - and made the case for clear, honest communication as the foundation for better outcomes between athletes and organisations.

The same principles that build a champion build a high-performing organisation: structured preparation, evidence-based methods, consistency, and the discipline to keep showing up.

Thank you to the Professional Triathletes Organisation, British Triathlon Federation, Sokin, and every leader who joined us on the water. by @brewyd.official
