we completed this thing on minimal sleep, crammed in a van, driving and running through the Oregon countryside all night and day. I would definitely recommend it to anyone training for a marathon or just looking for something to check off their bucket list. This is still one of the craziest things I’ve said “Yes” to for the second year in a row.

MY FIRST SUCCESSFUL LONG RUN!!! I say successful because I haven’t finished my last couple of long runs due to a myriad of reasons. But yesterday’s run? I felt amazing. My runners high kicked in (@offfield )and I was just doing it. I finally felt like I could see some progress. Now I’m still a sexy pace runner but I’m not chasing speed I’m just trying to prove to myself that I can do hard things. I’m so grateful that God has allowed this body to continue to last. I beat her up pretty bad in basketball and now she running? Girllllaaaaa ! Anyways, I love running with my sister @briasday that’s my girl. Thanks for letting me drag you into this running thing ❤️

Convincing former athletes to fall in love with running: 1 down, so many to go lol. My sister just signed up for her FIRST race, Nike After Dark Los Angeles, and I am so unbelievably there for it and so excited for her. Easy 5 today, Bria ran her own distance right beside me, and honestly this might be my favorite kind of run. It’s always good to run with friends no matter the distance.
