BB’s first official residency 🎉‼️ “sister support” is a loving term coined by Mickey Harmon, describing the act of when our circle of friends traveled between cities to attend each other’s gigs, parties and events. And with that, ✨SISTER SUPPORT✨ is the name of my first ever DJ residency, every third Saturday of the month at @twentysixallen in Allentown, Buffalo 🦬📌 excited to travel regularly to my sister city and deliver y’all groovy, glittery, queer dance floor dreams under the giant disco ball at Allen & Pearl 🪩

🦇🎶 one of my favorite times of the year for gigs, and it is a busy one. After this month I aim on taking a long and much needed pseudo DJ break; I will not be adding any local bookings, and I’ll be cutting back / adjusting a lot of regularly scheduled gigs ⚰️🌱 I promise to be back in full force by next spring. Until then here’s where you can spook the dance floor with me.

Another surprise revealed for our special debut at @rochesterfringe with Quantum Rubi X. Cube on September 25th 8-9 at SOTA Allen Main Stage Theatre @rcsdsota! And the surprise is QUEERKYBLOOM AFTERPARTY at @florabarrochester from 9.30pm til late😍😏

THIS SATURDAY 🌞 we have nice weather after all, so we will be extending the end of our last @rendezvous.roc beach day of the year to 6P 🏖 co-founders and resident DJs @maxxie.1129 and @brianbuttlett will be taking turns on decks providing the soundtrack all day long ✨ the weather is looking great with temps between high 60s - low 70s and sunny conditions, so plan accordingly as the sun goes down 🧣 see you at LOT A of DURAND EASTMAN BEACH this Saturday afternoon beginning 12P taken in Durand Eastman Beach by @brianbuttlett

it's been higly requested so this year, we are doing one final queer beach day on saturday 09.12.2026 to wrap up our summer 🌞 it will be a bit cooler so it's going to be a more cozy setup with just the co-founders/residents @brianbuttlett and @maxxie.1129 going back-to-back from noon to 5p (weather permitting) 🏖 we hope to see you on the beach one last time

Join us for Rivalry: After Dark, a closing celebration of Gabriel Martinez’s exhibition, Sites of Encounter.

The exhibition centers on photographs of cruising spaces across the U.S. and abroad, creating fragmented Queer landscapes imbued with anticipation and memorial. The silver gelatin prints on display were created through intensive and experimental hybrid processes. Martinez merges the dance floor within an analog darkroom by re-exposing his photographs to mirror-ball and laser lights, creating luminous apparitions that become integral to the final images.

Inspired by the role of the dance floor in Queer culture and the ways disco, light, and memory resonate throughout Martinez’s practice, the evening invites visitors to experience the exhibition in two distinct settings. DJ Brian Buttlett will spin dance classics as the gallery gradually transitions from its standard lighting into an immersive after-dark environment that echoes the mirror-ball and laser interventions embedded within the work.
