‘Riverglimmer’ - what’s felt directly in the soul when you behold sunlight reflecting from a river into a tree. That’s my attempt at describing it, anyway! A sublime afternoon for my second ‘ode to autumn’ walking retreat. Such a wonderful group and a privilege to spend the afternoon together! #riverglimmer #soulfulnature #odetoautumn #retreats by @briandraper

Hadn't even noticed that the heron had gatecrashed the shot! Thankful for St Francis today, 800 years on. And for the whole community of Creation. #autumn26 #thegathering by @briandraper

How to Survive a World in Crisis (and not grow weary of doing good)? - ask the epic @ruthvalerio1 !!!

The environmentalist, theologian and activist chatted with me about her profoundly timely and deeply resonant book, and the recording is on my YouTube channel now!

So grateful for people like Ruth who walk the talk and lead us into practical ways to be part of the solution. ‘Hope takes shape by taking action.’

Find renewal in the everyday 🌿

That's the invitation as National Retreat Week draws to a close - a reminder that renewal doesn't has to be far away but can be found in the chores, the queues and the world around us every day.

Cheering on @derumsey - the new bishop of St Albans - with 1600 others! I found myself literally & metaphorically sitting at his feet as he preached his first elevating sermon. St Albans is so blessed to call this poet-bishop its own. And we are so blessed to call him friend. 🥂 by @briandraper

You were never
“only a rabbit” to us -
you were loved;
and love isn’t ever
“only” anything,
but all we are.

Sleep tight, Willow ❤️ xx by @briandraper
