Brian's "Amaze" of the Day:
If you know me, you know that the simple strumming of the intro chords of "The Rainbow Connection" will always bring me to tears. I think it's the first song that planted itself in my brain and meant something to me. I may not have known what, exactly, but it's been there ever since. It was my very first audition song. I didn't know anything about sheet music so I asked my Dad to come into the audition room and accompany me on his guitar, landing me the pivotal role of "The Raccoon" in a community theater production of "Sleeping Beauty."
A few days ago, my Dad sent me this pic and the simple phrase "Look what Mom found!" I have no recollection of doing this (although I write my lyrics out to this day) but am absolutely amazed that it's survived!
I am a firm believer that "someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection," and am an incredibly proud lover and dreamer since, after all, it's probably magic.

Brian's "Amaze" of the Day:
Thanks to everyone who reached out with birthday love! I spent the day ending one sailing onboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy where Andy's "in residency" in the stunning champagne lounge, Ooh-La-La. And today, I jumped right back onboard for another cruise where we were greeted by the too fabulous for their own good Sanderson Sisters! (And yes, Mickey-shaped churro waffles happily stood in for birthday cake!)
