This version of the baby roll was made for one of our students @oioi808 who suffered injuries while serving in the Marine Corp. Scarring on his rib cage made learning the roll from his back difficult so we started him on his side. The goal is to control the speed of the fall (eccentric contraction) and not just to let gravity pull you over. Also, keep arms and legs off the ground. You can see in out of practice, especially in the second attempt to my left as I try to generate power by pushing my knee into the floor instead of using my back and hip muscles to lift me into an arch. The name was create by Oi as the movement was for him so he was allowed to name it. by @brianthemassageguy
