Don't forget to get away from the screen... go outside, go to the mountains. Touch grass, be humble and love your neighbor (everyone). Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park. This one is available tomorrow in Lawrence Art in the Park if anyone is in the area and wants to stop by. by @brianwhite.design

My son (who is 14) and I are making a pixel based video game. I said we should name it Shroomed but all my family thought that was a terrible idea 😅. I have a title but haven’t won anyone yet. We have been building sprites on paper then translating them to digital pixel art pngs. It’s steam punk meets adventure and harvesting good mushrooms and staying away from the bad ones. And no they don’t walk around. Think star dew valley style graphics but more adventure and secrets. Next step is game engine work and getting Tilip our adventurer to walk around. My son is smart and has a great imagination for this - should be good! Oh and a big thanks to @willtruran for helping us get started. He has a sweet game called “hollow sector that is super fun”. #videogame #athome #videogamedesign by @brianwhite.design
