Take me on a trip for craft and materials. Photo dump from the last few weeks in China, mostly in Yunnan which was exactly that. A Bai village known for silversmithing (more photos of that to come) a town of indigo dyeing, Naxi paper making, and Tibetan black pottery. Still basking in the @nycjewelryweek experience. One of the highlights was “Supper Club” at @thejewelrylibrary It was a multi course tasting by artist and chef @naamalevit — every dish infused with figs. So delicious and so much fun, to be 22 floors above NYC with 40 jewelry lovers drinking fig-infused whiskey. The evening raised funds for @baltimorejewelrycenter . Having done a residency there last year, I know what a special place it is.
