Hedwig is officially done! 🦉⚡️✨

Another Harry Potter build in the books—and yes, every single piece was put together with these claws. 💅🏽😂

I even used my Meta glasses this time so you could see part of the build from my point of view.

And that wing mechanism? 😵‍💫 She’s finished, she’s beautiful, and we’re leaving her ALONE. 😂

Bricks + claws. That’s the whole point. 💅🏽🧱

Went to the fair yesterday and somehow came home $350 lighter. 😭😂🧱

I really was just going to look. Then I found the LEGO.

Apparently I don’t know what “just looking” means. 💅🏽😂

And yes… I already had a whole pile of unopened sets at home. Mind your business. 😂

I’ll show you everything I bought next. 👀

Another LEGO Store, another stamp in the passport. 😂💅🏽🧱

Richmond had to get added to the LEGO passport! I think collecting these stamps might be becoming just as fun as the shopping. 😂

Who else has a LEGO passport? 👀

🗽🍎 UP FIRST: NEW YORK CITY!

A NYC girl building The Big Apple… with THESE claws. 💅🏾😂

1,465 pieces between me and the finish line.

The question isn’t whether I can finish it…
the question is whether the claws survive. 😭

💅🏾 Claw rating coming at the end!

The claws took the day off… so the bricks had to build themselves. 😂💅🏽🧱

Tom & Jerry clearly understood the assignment. 🐱🐭✨

Richmond LEGO Store run! 💅🏽🧱

I can never just walk into a LEGO Store and “look.” 😂 There are way too many sets I want and somehow I always find something else to add to the list.

What would’ve caught your eye? 👀

Okay…here’s what $350 at the LEGO fair looks like 😂😭🧱

I really went there thinking I was just going to look.

Clearly that did not happen. 😂

Now I have a bigger problem…

WHICH ONE AM I BUILDING FIRST?! 👀

Harry Potter⚡️
Disney Camera🎥
Game Boy🎮
NYC🗽
Batman? 🦇
Tom & Jerry🐭🐱

Pick one because apparently I can’t make responsible LEGO decisions on my own. 😂

There is absolutely NO WAY that little piece just vanished. 😭😂

I heard it hit the floor.
I watched it fall.
I know the general area.

And somehow the carpet said, “Mine now.”

Then you find it three days later in a location that makes absolutely no sense. 😒🧱

LEGO people… how long do you search before you grab a replacement piece? 😂

Okay LEGO people… ROLL CALL! 🧱💅🏽

What are y’all building right now? 👀
Or better yet… what set is still sitting in the box waiting for you to finally open it? 😂

I’m always looking for new builds to obsess over, so tell me what you’re working on!

And if you’re not building anything right now, tell me your favorite set you’ve built so far. 👇🏽💕

Same bricks. Bigger community. 🧱💕

The name bricksandclaws isn’t just for decoration. 😂💅🏽🧱

Yes, I really build LEGO with these nails.
Yes, they get in the way sometimes.
And yes, I will absolutely grab a tool before I give up my claws. 😂

I’ve been showing y’all all the finished builds, but I realized I’ve been skipping the best part… actually watching me build them.

So here’s a little behind-the-scenes of Luxo Jr. coming together. 💡⭐️

Welcome to bricksandclaws 💅🏽🧱💕

Yes, I really build LEGO with these nails. 😂

This page is basically where my love for LEGO and my love for long nails collided — and somehow it works.

Expect new builds, LEGO finds, way too many sets waiting to be opened, a few tools when the nails refuse to cooperate 😂, and plenty of behind-the-scenes building.

No perfect builds over here. Just me, my claws, and a whole lot of bricks. 💅🏽🧱

If you’re into LEGO too, you’re in the right place. 💕

Small pieces. Big joy.

From one little Pixar ball to THIS. ⭐️💡🧱

Luxo Jr. is officially finished!

I decided to photograph each stage of this build, and I’m so glad I did because watching him slowly come together was probably my favorite part.

And that Pixar ball? Still ridiculously cute. 😂

Swipe ➡️ to see how the build came together.

Okay… who’s next? Because the LEGO backlog is still looking at me. 👀😂
