What if the guests of honor at Día de los Muertos actually showed up? 💀🌼✨

Every year, families in Mexico celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. With flowers, candles, photographs and ofrendas, they welcome the spirits of their loved ones home.

It's a celebration of memory, love and the bonds that never truly disappear. ❤️

But in my little LEGO universe, the dearly departed have a few plans of their own. 😄

The marigolds light their way. The music starts playing. The streets come alive.

And suddenly, the ones we're celebrating are celebrating right alongside us! 🎺💃

Some dance until sunrise. Others apparently decide that one lifetime wasn't enough for a beach holiday. 🏖️🍹

Inspired by the beautiful tradition behind Día de los Muertos, the LEGO Ofrenda 40811 and a little of that magic you might remember from Disney Pixar's Coco.

Because being remembered means never completely disappearing.

And who says the afterlife can't be a party? ✨

💬 Where would you spend your first day back?

❤️ Like the celebration! 📤 Share the memories! ➕ Follow for more worlds! ▶️ Subscribe on YouTube!
