One whole YEAR of our Leander Lowen 🩵

We are so blessed to have our little boy who makes everyday so much more exciting. He is curious, determined, smart, sweet and silly! Andy can confidently walk and says many words. He loves to point, play patty cake, play with tractors, spend time with grandparents and be outside!

One year ago, I tried for four days to induce to never make it past 3 cm dilated. It was getting late at night, there had been storms and tornadoes during the day and it was finally time to make the call to have an emergency c-sections. After all the days on magnesium, we were prepared that Andy would come out drowsy and being that he was so early, he may need to be whisked away to the NICU and stay there potentially up to a month until his due date. He instead came out screaming, knew how to nurse right away and got to have cuddles with both Jack and I. In total, he was in the NICU for two weeks before coming home. Every step of the way, he has been an over achiever, even making his pediatrician joke that maybe they calculated his due date wrong with how advanced he is!

Eleven months of Andy!

More and more each month we get to see his personality! He love being silly, having a good laugh, and making everything go “vroom!”

This past month we’ve been walking more and more. He also learned to click his tongue and will say “ni ni” when we talk about going night night. Andy is constantly busy and his favorite things are grandmas goosies and tractors!

Becoming a mom is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the most amazing. 🩵

So thankful everyday for the moms in my life and in Andy’s. He got to spend time with both of his awesome grandmas and great grandma today! (Of course I forgot to take pictures and videos from the later part of our day. 😅) by @bridgealtmann

⚡️ PA x All Star Worlds 2026 🌎

5 days in Florida with 3 amazing teams, the best coaches, athletes and families! We are so blessed that we get to do this. I love sharing getting to share this sport with our athletes and the competition is one aspect of this all but the memories are what will stick for a lifetime!

Extra special this year was the fact that Maki & I choreographed all three of these routines! We’ve learned so much this season & loved getting to create things that are extra special to highlight our athletes.

All the hard work paid off in that all teams made their goal of earning the privilege to compete on the second day. We left with four hit zeros, knowledge, memories, banners and best of all, knowing our athletes are great humans. I watched our girls wish luck to other teams competing (even their direct competitors), cheering on teams from the front of the mat if they didn’t have a large crowd or joining their tunnels, creating new traditions with other gyms backstage and clapping for other programs successes. Good sportsmanship goes a lot farther in life than any tumbling skill or stunt.

Maki, Haley and Gabby - thank you for always pushing me to have fun and making me genuinely laugh the hardest I have in a loooong time! You are my people.

Now it’s time for showcase and a summer filled with FUN and NEW SKILLS! Can’t wait! 🩵⚡️ by @bridgealtmann

Here we are at ten months with our Andy!

He is the most wonderful little boy and we couldn’t ask for a better baby. Everything is interesting to him and he always needs to know what’s going on. He is not only an inquisitive little guy but he’s a little charmer who loves to offer up a big smile to everyone!

This past month Andy made some big developments like getting his first bottom tooth fully in and starting to get in his two top front teeth! He has started walking and standing independently too so watch out!

Other events this month were his first times staying overnight at both his grandparents houses, his first Easter, and his 9 month appointment where we learned he’s currently in the 30-40th percentile for preemie babies. He’s just a little guy!

His favorite things include scrambled eggs, bath time, playing with the cats, stroller rides and driving his tractors… big or small!
