A good day.

Happy to have gotten all (🤞) my cranky calves, mid race yak-ing, ill-timed foot gashes, and snapped goggles out of the way in prep for this. Much learned and ready for more.

How incredibly special to get to share the course with so many of my @yoderperformance teammates. Hard work pays off and inspiring to watch everyone, unsurprisingly, demolish that race. Grateful to be a part of their squad ❤️ by @bridgetefoote

It's one thing to be able to coach kids, it's another to be able to inspire them and to make them want to be the best they can be. That's what Scott did. Truly the best coach I have ever encountered, Scott constantly pushed his swimmers to do their best, to "try harder and suck less." For me, Scott was not only my greatest role model, but also my biggest cheerleader. He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. He taught me about hard work and always thought that I was capable of anything. There's nothing I wouldn't do for another laugh or hug or pep talk or chat. Scott, I am eternally grateful for everything you have done for me, for turning me into the person that I am today. If only I could be as #scottstrong as you.
