Shining a light on Central Americans United of CT’s Independence Celebration with @glowsocialbooth 📸✨

The students, professors, entrepreneurs, community leaders, artists, parents, grandparents…

Are all what make this community so much more beautiful ❤️🇨🇷 🇳🇮🇭🇳🇬🇹🇸🇻💙

Honored to be a part of this annual event so taking it back to our first collaboration. Big thanks to this organization for generating such joy, pride, hope, and support for all. Can’t wait to see where this initiative goes!

Love to all of the Central American countries, but I’m a daughter of Nicaragua so I had to represent with this tune (since I managed to not get a photo of myself.) 🔊 by @bridgetnthebeat

There’s something timeless about a woman. How she dreams in color, moves with purpose, and carries both grace and grit in the same breath. She listens to the quiet pull of her calling, and when the time is right, she answers it boldly.

After years of envisioning this moment, @djqboogie brought her vision full circle. From founding @femaledjassociation to now launching @thefemaledjdirectory, a platform created by a woman, for women, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

The Female DJ Directory serves as a growing network and resource, connecting talented women DJs with opportunities to be seen, booked, and celebrated across the industry.

Her launch party at Loft 147 was pure magic. The energy, the sound, the sisterhood. I'm honored that she chose my newest venue to host this amazing event and couldn’t be more proud of her for turning her vision into reality.

Cheers to my friend, and all women, who create, connect, and continue to rise. 🥂 taken in Loft 147 by @bridgetnthebeat

Something about #DTMF made it all click for me.

The storytelling, the rhythms, the poetry, and instrumentation…it’s about capturing real memories, people, and culture. Pieces that are all a part of me, but that I’ve never felt completely connected to.

The strongest draw to that side of me came in the form of parties. Birthdays, baby showers, baptisms, and quinceañeras - that’s when the true magic of my heritage was unleashed. The food, music, dance, fashion, rituals - the full flow of Puerto Rican culture on display was mesmerizing to my younger self, even conversations sounded like rhythms.

I had no idea then but those moments molded me in so many ways. First, as a creative mind who told vivid stories and created unique experiences. And now, as a business owner.

While I’m not new to marketing and events, I am stepping out with a new photo booth service - to capture your special moments and shine a light on the people who matter to you the most.

This summer has been a whirlwind of unexpected bookings and I’m so grateful to those who have already partnered with me and Glow Social Booth. Now, I’m looking forward to chatting about fall and holiday events so you won’t end the year saying, “I wish we got more pictures of…”

We’re still feeling the magic of Mixes and Mimosas! From the phenomenal Women DJ’s and producers in the room, the support from the Men, the engaging panel discussion, the unique sets showcasing each DJs individual styles, to the music lovers dancing to every beats played, our first event was more than we could have imagined.

Huge thanks to our sponsors and partners, whose generosity and dedication to support the Women in Music and the Female DJ Community helped bring our vision to life.

Super shout out to our amazing volunteers and team members who worked behind the scenes, ensuring every detail was perfect and every guest felt welcomed.

Together, we created an unforgettable experience filled with music, creativity, love, and unity. The power of collaboration and the joy of music is truly a beautiful thing! 🎧✨

There was a lot of love in the room and we are so ready to do it again!

We can’t get enough of seeing footage of our first event this past Sunday.

Thank you all so much for sharing your pictures and videos of your experiences. It means so much!

The Energy was welcoming as you walked in hearing melodies that the Phenomenal Women shared with the room of music lovers. The Food and drinks were delectable.

MIXES and Mimosa was a whole entire Vibe!

SISTERHOOD was on another level and we loved seeing all of it.

They are asking when is the next one? Sooner than you think Sis!

Did you see our centerpieces? @yolis.touch.llc did that!!

Official recap and pictures coming soon!
