There’s something timeless about a woman. How she dreams in color, moves with purpose, and carries both grace and grit in the same breath. She listens to the quiet pull of her calling, and when the time is right, she answers it boldly.

After years of envisioning this moment, @djqboogie brought her vision full circle. From founding @femaledjassociation to now launching @thefemaledjdirectory, a platform created by a woman, for women, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

The Female DJ Directory serves as a growing network and resource, connecting talented women DJs with opportunities to be seen, booked, and celebrated across the industry.

Her launch party at Loft 147 was pure magic. The energy, the sound, the sisterhood. I'm honored that she chose my newest venue to host this amazing event and couldn’t be more proud of her for turning her vision into reality.

Cheers to my friend, and all women, who create, connect, and continue to rise. 🥂

Something about #DTMF made it all click for me.

The storytelling, the rhythms, the poetry, and instrumentation…it’s about capturing real memories, people, and culture. Pieces that are all a part of me, but that I’ve never felt completely connected to.

The strongest draw to that side of me came in the form of parties. Birthdays, baby showers, baptisms, and quinceañeras - that’s when the true magic of my heritage was unleashed. The food, music, dance, fashion, rituals - the full flow of Puerto Rican culture on display was mesmerizing to my younger self, even conversations sounded like rhythms.

I had no idea then but those moments molded me in so many ways. First, as a creative mind who told vivid stories and created unique experiences. And now, as a business owner.

While I’m not new to marketing and events, I am stepping out with a new photo booth service - to capture your special moments and shine a light on the people who matter to you the most.

This summer has been a whirlwind of unexpected bookings and I’m so grateful to those who have already partnered with me and Glow Social Booth. Now, I’m looking forward to chatting about fall and holiday events so you won’t end the year saying, “I wish we got more pictures of…”

THE STAGEWING BOOTH WAS 🔥

@femaledjassociation was in the building at the @djxshowofficial representing the Female DJ Association and holding it down at the @stagewingapp booth.

StageWing, founded by @sedthesaint , connects DJs and event pros with trusted local equipment providers - aka ‘WingMates.’ You can rent gear, list your own, and even get delivery and setup, making events easier and more profitable for everyone.

The booth was buzzing all week! Our FDJA team @camillehudsonrealtor and @bridgetnthebeat , FDJA sisters @djcha and @djladyfx, the StageWing community, and @thedjplug kept the energy high with live mixes - and our founder @djqboogie jumped on for a quick set too!

We also connected with so many talented DJs, asking about their style, go-to gear, and what inspires them. Stay tuned for our quick interviews with DJs sharing their insights and experiences.

A big thank you to @sedthesaint for trusting us to represent @stagewingapp and FDJA at the DJXshow.

Check out some of the DJs we got to connect and vibe with below!

Salute the DJ 🫡
