There can be a temptation to only post the “perfect” parts of a wedding day. You know— the dreamy golden hour portraits, the perfectly styled florals, the polished details. And believe me, I love those things too.

But photos like this one is what makes this job oh so special and reminds me how meaningful this work really is.

I don’t know who this woman is. I don’t know what caused this undeniably beautiful joy to cross her face in this exact moment. But I know she means the world to someone. She’s someone’s grandma. Someone’s safe place. Someone who has lived enough life to wear this joy with honesty.
